Girl + food by cafe fresh — Restaurant in Davenport

Nice little cafe bistro with excellent food! The menu is full of interesting choices, I had the Chipotle Beef Lolipops and the soup flight. They were carefully prepared, fresh and full of flavor. There's just the right amount of spice in the Chipotle Beef, which comes out as meatballs about the size of a ping pong ball. Between that and the soup flight it was more than I could finish. The soups are all very thick and hearty with something to add some crunch and contrast, either tortilla strips or toast. AMAZING FOOD!!! I first tried their food at the Bettendorf Food Truck Fight and I was hooked! Like their namesake, their freshness and quality of ingredients is what really makes this place shine in a landscape of bland food. I visited their Davenport location this week and the decor was visually stunning. They owner walked me through the menu as I wasn’t sure what I wanted. Amazingly fresh food. It is expensive, but you get what you pay for! Totally worth it. I crave the salad 🥗

Edit: Still amazing food and I still crave it! The problem is they never answer the phone and the website never works for online orders! My mom just had surgery and has been wanting their food, but we can't get them to answer the phone when they're only open for a couple of hours daily....
