Subway — Restaurant in Davenport

Let me tell you what just happened at North Park mall in Davenport. I took 3 of the people I work with to the mall they ordered food at Subway and I paid with their change because everyone has limited income right. The owner of this subway said to them are you retarded why you pay with so much change? I looked at him and said excuse me what did you ask them? Mind you I am boiling at this point and he knew it he ignores me. So then the one girl I work with opened her sandwich and said sir I don't think this is mine I had mayo on mine. He Rips the sandwich out of her hand along with her receipt and throws it away mind you they charged her for a steak sandwich and she had a ham sandwich which was much cheaper. Then he looks at his employee and says help these retards they change their mind to much. Are you freaking kidding me. So then I tell him that my one girl paid for a pop hand him the receipt. I tell him she didn't get her pop and he says no she didn't PAY FOR ONE now go away. So I told him give me her pop she paid for or I am calling the cops because that is theft. He walks away from me so I called security. Lucky I can't video tape my consumers or I would have had him on camera and made it go viral. When is OK to treat others disrepectful. I was security at the mall for a short time and always liked them but i needed more time in my life for other things, nevertheless, i started working for this subway and liked it at first. The owner is nice enough(treats everyone like children though). I was concerned with the cleanliness of the backroom, the drying racks in particular looked very dirty and green and one or two passes with a sponge would fix it. He puts entirely too much responsibility on one employee to fix all of these things, such as cleaning mold out of sinks, veggie prep for whole week, and they don’t flip the bane they just change the stickers. Thats a straight up health concern that he knows about and works to hide...

Didn't eat there, but don't think I could have any ways. The kids working in there pretty much blew off this one Customer while they were dancing and singing as loud as they could with their friend standing on the other side of the counter trying to sell some sort of tickets doing the same as them. Disrespectful and completely unprofessional. Just save your money and try the other food...
