Charleys Cheesesteaks — Restaurant in Davenport

Just went on Saturday and had a terrible experience. I’m giving 1 star only because the food is normally very good. I ordered 2 steak sandwiches with no veggies and order of fries. By the time I got to the end the customer in front of me had the man put everything on her sandwiches and then realized they were not her sandwiches they were mine. I asked him if my sandwiches could be re-made because mine were supposed to be plain and I dont get anything on them. A lady who I’m assuming is the manager/supervisor told him no we are not making them over and then right in front of me she takes her hand and just wipes the stuff off of the sandwiches. I told her I either want new or my money back. She said ok and 5 minutes later comes back and slams my money down on the counter. However, she only refunded the sandwiches and I never got the fries or my money back for them. Terrible customer service and how gross to just wipe off sandwiches and expect someone to take them especially with all the food allergies that people have. I bet she ended up giving them to...

Where to start? I have been frequenting Charley's in NorthPark Mall food court for several years now. The first thing that brought me was the idea of a Philly cheese steak sandwich. First thing I noticed however, was the friendly staff. The local owner Hugo is the epitome of courteousness. He doesn't lather it on thick, but simply treats everyone with respect & a smile, even if he is in a hurry. (NO, I wasn't paid for that statement! =P ) I was impressed with how nice his staff was. Even through the years with staff coming & going (as do in most restaurants), Hugo hires only those who reflect a good spirit. Next, the food is prepared per order & right in front of you! No worries of people & their practices behind a wall like is so typical in fast food these days. The food, speaking of which, is phenomenal! Again, I keep coming back for more. Bottom line? I met these people out of chance & have been coming back regularly for good reason. Thanks for bringing this level of service & quality...

The loaded fries are extremely good. As with most fries best if eat them right there versus taking home. Then they would get soggy. Sandwich is listed as well and did not skimp on the meat. I was already mostly stuffed from the loaded fries so I was only able to eat half of it. Took other half home and still good later. We love getting the lemonade. The girls love strawberry and a peach! They actually add pieces to the lemonade. Only item of issue is the plastic cup the lemonade was flimsy. When I grabbed the middle the cup was trying to fold in so I have to hold...
