Taqueria Sabor — Restaurant in Davidson

We had not been here but we love Mexican food. We live very close so decided to give it a shot. We got there a little early around 530 on Friday. The restaurant was empty with only 1 other couple so my first thought was oh no another mediocre Mexican restaurant in Mooresville. Boy was I wrong!! We were greeted with a smile right away. The atmosphere was nice and clean. We got seated and were asked for drinks. We got a pitcher of margaritas and they were very good. We got our chips and salsa and it was delicious. The salsa is so fresh and so good. Gave us plenty of time to make up our minds and it was tough because everything sounded so good. We decided on the steak fajita burrito, steak bowl and a taco salad. All 3 had excellent and unique flavors of there own and were so fresh. We found our new go to Mexican restaurant and can’t wait to go back and try something different. We hope other people discover this off the path gem. Y’all this Mexican restaurant has great food, even this place is new their service is great and the workers there including the owner are attentive to their customers. By the time we set down chips and salsa come right away and it’s fresh. I order additional guacamole it is fresh and yummy in addition to that We order drink called house margarita is really good. The portion of food is just perfect and enjoyable and satisfying. Now we finally ordered the main entree which was taco regulares with hard shell and los Cabo’s special which has shrimp and scallops this meal are spot on. It is delicious and fulfilling and of course we don’t walk away without dessert and their cheesecake filled with cinnamon is just delicious. Every dish is bursting with flavor, thanks to their fresh ingredients and top-tier food quality. Whether dining in or ordering takeout, the consistency in taste and attention to detail is great.
