Moyers Lakeside Eatery — Restaurant in North Carolina

The cheesesteaks are on point, the staff have been friendly every time I visited.

The lack of stars is for politicizing the restaurant. There is NO NEED to bring politics into a limited hours “diner/ice cream shop”

There’s enough division in this country as it is. I just don’t understand why, as a business, in a capitalist economy, you would risk alienating a considerable amount your of your potential customer base by advertising for a particular candidate. It feels ignorant and short sighted. Why not promote things that are universally beloved instead? Like advertising ASPCA or for pets in shelters who are on the kill list. Or charities to help homeless veterans or starving children?

I support your right to vote as a business owner. But damn, stay in your lane and sell great cheesesteaks and German pancakes.

Also I never said which politician I was talking about…. I feel the same way about both parties and just want a politics free cheesesteak #MCGA...

My first visit to this place. The Two people up front was very friendly and very welcoming. However!!! My biggest concern was that the people making my food had no gloves on. I saw the guy wiping his and on his jeans and a used dingy towel sitting on the counter, not to mention the young lady on the line beside him digging in a white container with her bare hands with no gloves as well grabbing my potato chips and pickles with the same hand. ( Cross contamination). Clearly they don't use gloves at this place. I didn't have the nerve to address this with them so I quietly took my sandwich and left. If anyone in management sees this please use gloves. Not sure what the steak and cheese hoagie tasted like because I was too uncomfortable to eat it. $13.00 down the drain 😔 thanks for the friendly service But don't let the health inspector see your staff not using gloves. You will most definitely lose...

Everything a casual dining experience should be! Moyers has owners that obviously care about their customers and take pride in their establishment, plus excellent food and good service. I had lunch there with friends today for the first time and I was so impressed. The owners were lovely. They treated us like old friends, and I observed as they greeted regular customers as if they were family. When Don, the owner, found out it was my birthday, he treated me to one of their strawberry German Pancake desserts. Omg so good!!!! I chose Moyers today because of their reputation for great Philly cheesesteaks, which I’d been craving for awhile. I was not disappointed! Without a doubt, theirs is the best and most authentic cheesesteak I’ve had outside PA. So good!! Just add some Whiz to the cheese options and I won’t have to go to Philly anymore. 😉 Thanks for a great lunch Don. Can’t wait to...
