DO NOT eat here unless you’re prepared for a serious health risk.
My experience at Mr. & Mrs. Crab Seafood Boil was nothing short of a public health nightmare. We ordered a large seafood boil and immediately noticed something was off—the taste was strange and unpleasant. After only a few bites, we discovered a cockroach was sitting at the bottom of our seafood bag. Yes, a cockroach.
When we brought this horrifying discovery to the assistant manager (as the general manager was not on duty), we were met with dismissiveness and rudeness. Even worse, the staff openly admitted that multiple customers had reported getting sick that same night. Yet, they refused to take any action or offer any resolution other than telling us to call back the next day.
Unfortunately, the situation escalated—both of us became violently ill with food poisoning within hours and ultimately had to seek emergency medical care. When we contacted the restaurant again the following day to speak with the general manager, we were placed on hold for over two hours, only to be interrogated and questioned about our experience. While they eventually agreed to issue a refund, it has yet to be processed, and they continue to doubt the legitimacy of what happened—despite admitting others also became sick.
This place is not just unprofessional; it’s dangerous. The food safety violations are egregious, and the lack of accountability is alarming. I strongly urge the health department to investigate this establishment immediately. No one should be subjected to the conditions we experienced.

Read moreI'll start off by saying that the rest of the diners in my party were satisfied and did not find any issues with their meals. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. This food was not bad. It was passable. Unfortunately it was just disappointing. Much of the seafood was overcooked and dry. This was unfortunately reflected in the king crab. Consider the qualities for which people seek out crab. Tender buttery flesh, a mild yet rich flavor. I would consider the finished dish a desecration that was simply lacking. Another example to take into account is the shrimp, that while not irreversible damaged was approaching a chewy rubbery quality. The seasoning was 1 dimensional and plain. Though I ordered the special seafood boil spice blend, which included lemon pepper, garlic butter and Cajun seasoning, even in simple flavors such as salt the presence was superficial. This made the lack of more complex flavors all the more apparent. While I can't quite bring myself to call the food 'bad' here was the impression that quality of flavor was not a priority. Though I suspect many people would not find this to be a major concern, I would not recommend this establishment to individuals seeking a complex and...
Read moreIt was ok. I liked the way the place looked. Server was at the most ok. She brought us appetizers, 1 chowder was water. Just fter getting apps, she brought out dinnera... which we didn't want yet because we just got our apps. Said it would be 5 min at least to replace chowder. All served in cardboard bowls with plastic lids. Plastic tableware given in plastic bags. Asked for an extra spoon, didn't get it, had to use another's. When we were ready for our dinner, served in plastic bags, it was cool because it was done way too early. And the worst, absolute worst was 2 of us ordered blue crabs. My friend grew up on them in MD, I've been eating them for 17 years... we never eat females. 1 of 3 of hers was a female.. 2 of 3 of mine were females and MINE HAD EGGS!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!! My 2 females barely had any meat and weren't very good, the male was ok. And who serves blue crabs and doesn't have any apple cider or malt vinegar in the entire restaurant.
So between food feeling microwaved, everything being in plastic - an overuse of plastic at that... and serving female blue crabs, and gravid ones at that... We will never go...
