Cilantro has become one of our favorite restaurants! We love coming for the lunch special, my personal favorite is the Sushi Sashimi Bento Box. For $14, you get an egg roll, choice of soup or salad, and a delicious bento box of sushi: 6 pieces of sashimi, 3 nigiri, tuna tataki, and a California roll. Talk about bang for your buck! (PSA: Sunday/holidays are the only time when lunch special isn’t available) We’ve come here many times, and every visit is 5-star worthy. From the food, to the service, to the overall experience, Cilantro does an excellent job in all categories. The menu provides a plethora of options ranging from signature sushi rolls to Thai specials. Highly recommend the Cilantro Roll, which features a cocktail glass filled with diced sashimi. Also a fan of the grilled Kama. A favorite moment eating here was for my younger cousin’s college graduation - Go Noles! Cilantro hosted a group of 20+ to celebrate the graduate. If you have a large party or special occasion, this restaurant is a great place to enjoy a flavorful and fun feast. I can’t provide the financial details or preset meals for large parties, but I guarantee you can connect with staff and they’ll help coordinate your special event. Drinks are refreshing and compliment the tasty food. I often pair my Bento Box with an ice thai tea. Cilantro also has a creative cocktail list that is sure to excite your pallet. This restaurant is decorated beautifully and always kept clean. Is quite large and right off state road 84. And finally, to circle back on service - exceptional. We’ve been lucky to build a friendly relationship with Cilantro manager, Tan. He always welcomes us with a smile and brings a warm energy to this place. The sushi bar often waves hello and greets us as well. The waiters provide good service and are very polite. The bus boys are also very hard working and kindly clean the tables. Ultimately, you got to try this place. I hope you enjoy it as...

Cilantro is my new favorite restaurant and offers a dining experience that tantalizes the senses and transports patrons to the heart of Asian cuisine. Nestled in a cozy corner, the restaurant's ambiance exudes warmth and sophistication, making it the perfect retreat for a memorable culinary journey.

From the moment you step through the door, the aroma of exotic spices and fresh ingredients wafts through the air, enticing guests. The decor is a seamless blend of modern elegance and traditional charm, creating an inviting space where every detail is thoughtfully curated.

But it's not just the atmosphere that makes Cilantro stand out—it's the exceptional staff who elevate the dining experience to new heights. From the friendly greetings at the door to the attentive service throughout the meal, the staff at Cilantro exude genuine warmth and hospitality. Their passion for food and dedication to customer satisfaction are evident in every interaction, making diners feel truly valued and welcomed.

As for the food, prepare to be dazzled by a menu that showcases the best of Asian cuisine. From mouthwatering sushi rolls bursting with flavor to fragrant curries that transport you to distant lands, each dish is a work of art that delights the palate. The chefs at Cilantro demonstrate impeccable skill and creativity, crafting dishes that are as visually stunning as they are delicious.

Whether you're a seasoned foodie or simply looking for a memorable dining experience, Cilantro is a must-visit destination. With its inviting atmosphere, attentive staff, and exquisite cuisine, this restaurant sets the standard for Asian dining in the area! Can’t...

Andrea and I were in the mood for some Thai later Friday evening, and Cilantro - which we had been to previously - had hours which supported our stop that evening.

We weren't certain what to expect at that hour (a little after 9pm) but we found an establishment that was amazingly happy and busy! We were quickly seated, and the exuberantly happy Channa too our drink and my Thom Kha Gai order. Everything was out quickly and in very good shape.

The soup was hot and as flavorful as I recalled. Thom Kha typically supports cilantro in its recipe, but this establishment - keeping to its namesake - puts the herb very much forward, and if you are favorable toward cilantro it works extremely well!

Entrees of chicken Penang curry (Andrea) and Pad See Ow (beanthread/rice angel hair) with mixed chicken, pork and beef (me) followed quickly, piping hot and properly flavorful. Cilantro keeps hot pepper sauce trays for patrons like myself who prefer the spicier side of life, and one of these was brought for my use. The final result was a marvelous meal, just the way we wanted it.

I would recommend every bit of it again - from the happy welcome to swift and colorful service provided, to plentiful, very tasty food well prepared and provided, and an unexpectedly cheerful send-off that promised a welcome back.

In an area that features a fair number of similar restaurants (Thai/Japanese offerings), Cilantro is worth adding to your list of...

03.30.22 - Lunch Time @cilantroindavie 1. Lunch with some fellow Entrepreneurs today. 2. Trying out this new place in Davie, @cilantroindavie that used to be the old location for Ruby Tuesday. 3. There were ALOT of options on the menu. 4. Just when you think you’ve seen all the options, there’s more on the back. 😅 5. The Spring Roll was cooked just right. 6. Trying out the Pad Thai Noodles with Tofu and no eggs 7. Trying out the vegetable fried rice with no eggs I think you can have a restaurant that has okay food, but great service and clients will be very pleased. On the same token, you can have a restaurant with great food and poor service, and that ruins the experience. On that note, Overall, I give them a 7.5 out of 10. The reason for a 7.5 out of 10 is because it’s between average and the best. Pros: 1. The value you get for what you pay is excellent! 2. A lot of options to pick from 3. The place is conveniently located and the ambience is comfortable. 4. The spring roll was very good. Cons: 1. Service was not good at all. It took about 10-15 minutes for our server to attend to us. 2. I had to stand up and find someone to get us drink refills. If the service had been better, than the rating would probably have been better too. 3. There were a lot of options to pick from on the menu, but it was a little overwhelming. 4. The flavor of the two main menu items were okay, but not great.

Decent food. My wife and I spent three years living in Thailand beyond two decades of visiting this region of her birth and some of their dishes do the real thing credit. This place suffers from the same disease as most Asian restaurants in south Florida--a lack of genuine ingredients. Fresh chilis unavailable for the somtam (green papaya salad) was notable. Still, this place is as worthy a substitute as any in the area until you can save your pennies and Thai baht for a vacation back yourself. My pork yakisoba noodles were fresh and tasty, as was my wife's ginger sauce chicken. Portions were generous. The fried whole fish, a perpetual favorite to be split by my wife and I, was absurdly overpriced at $60, and remains untested. Some service weirdness persists since the days of older reviews when this broke down for a time. Brown rice was supposedly included, then billed separately later. The waiter spilled a large pool of staining, slippery sauce next to our table, then after failing to return to clean it, 15 minutes later stooped to simply pick up a napkin my wife had placed over it without any attempt to clean anything. Odd. I must say we had no problem catching a waiter's eye at any point, however, which is usually a problem when dining in Florida.
