This place is a great chow down spot to visit if you're ever in the area. They are a start up business. Freshly new. Family owned. It's a complete upgrade from the owner before where it was just soft serves and smoothies. I loved that they kept the frozen yogurt as an option on top of adding what they originally bought the place for. Sure they serve on paper plates and it seems cheap. How can you blame them? If you just simply asked them you'd know they are starting up.
When you move into a new home do you have everything together right away? It's a fresh start and they are getting everything they need as they build. I see alot of one star reviews on here and if you had a problem with the food then you could've taken it up with the chef. Don't bring down someone who's working hard to build something. I recommend this place for anyone who's willing and able to try something new and has alot of patience and aren't high maintenance. If you expect too much then this place isn't for you. No one can please someone who's always disappointed.
The owner is super sweet and very tentative to make sure you have a great experience. He doesn't mind meeting people and answering your questions if you have any. If you have any complaints, well he seems like the type to work something out. He takes your critics into consideration. Everything is a learning process.
Same for the mother and aunt who also work there. You will find them two up front taking orders and serving to those who sit in and eat.
Everytime I go I leave with no regrets. The atmosphere is chill not as hectic as the big food restaurant chains. The food does require a wait time to prepare and serve, but I expected no less. It's not a fast food restaurant like McDonald's, Wendy's, etc. I want my food well cooked and not leave me with food poisoning, thanks. People can say I'm leaving this review for the discount, but I don't need it. I'll still be a customer and see them grow.
P.S. the frozen yogurt is also amazing. 😝
My one and only complaint though is the seating areas inside. I wish there were more available. Probably just a spot for bigger...
Read moreI feel very bad writing this but I don’t want anyone else going through what we just went through. We just spent $84 on breakfast at this place when we should have just left the minute we walked in. First of all, their restroom was out of order and we couldn’t even wash our hands and my dad had to go to a nearby DD to use the bathroom. They apologized and said that they were supposed to come fix it at 9am. It was past 11am when we arrived. Then, we ask for breakfast platters that clearly states that comes with potatoes and they tell us that they don’t make it with potatoes anymore. We still stay and we each get our orders in. They tell us that it will take a while as they have a small kitchen, we say that’s fine. The orders come out and they are all served in paper plates and plastic utensils. Their water is also served in paper cups and they served my sister tap water right in front of her from the sink faucet. The food presentation is also horrible. The omelettes did not look appealing at all and tasted ok. Waffles were bad, they said they could make us more but we said no. Bacon was burnt. Eggs were just thrown on the plate. We are just in shock. While we were there, a DoorDash worker came in to pick up food for her customer and they told her that she had to wait 20 more minutes for it. The door dasher had to wait outside in her car and when she came back in, the food was still not ready. The only good thing was probably the chicken wings. I feel bad but I’m just upset we spent so much for such a bad experience. They should just probably focus on smoothies and açaí bowls. I feel they are trying to offer too much for the resources they have. The only reason this has good reviews is probably because they offer a discount if you leave a good review, which of...
Read moreI’ve gone here three times in the last week since first finding this spot. The menu offers you many options which makes it easy to keep everyone happy and makes sure there’s something good for everyone who comes in. My first time there I tried the steak burrito which came with lettuce, cilantro white rice, black beans, sour cream and some pico. This burrito is massive and takes me two sittings to finish typically. Anything fried here is air fried which I personally love and I get their fries every time I go now.
The lemon pepper chicken wings were great as well. The quality of the meat was great and the size of the wings were above average. Only thing I’d say is make sure the fry seasoning is covering all the wing and not part of it.
The Philly steak wrap with onions and green peppers was really good and paired great with some BBQ sauce.
For desserts I’ve only had plain vanilla custard but that too was great.
Unfortunately I’m moving out of state soon and won’t be able to come here anymore so I’m going as much as I can now before moving.
Next up I wanna try...
