I absolutely love the setup in here, the decor the layout everything is so nice!

I have been searching for a nice place with good coffee and good food since I moved to the area and this place is nice and the latte I had was pretty decent in taste but it was nothing special and underwhelming for my expectations based on the vibe of the place i figured it would have a design on top or something but no and when I received it it was split all over the saucer.

I am very disappointed in the quality and quantity of what I got for how much I paid.

I did a create my own açaí bowl. The açaí base was quite flavorful and delicious the fruit I chose for toppings was fresh however, very little of it. Not at all what I’m used to when it comes to açaí bowls. I got pineapple strawberries and banana; I had maybe a tablespoon of pineapple, one sliced up strawberry and half a banana. Very skimpy on the fruit toppings and then a drizzle of hunny. The only topi g I felt wasn’t short on was the cocoa nibs. I paid $20 for a latte and the bowl that was fairly large but half empty.

Any where else I’ve gone in my past experience the fruit topping is plentiful. I understand this isn’t anywhere else but if I can go places that are cheaper and get more then why would I pay this much to get less. So that’s a shame because I really wanted to love this place.

Also, when I was ordering apparently it takes one to use the register and two to supervise while also starting me down making me feel uncomfortable with the half dirty looks I was given. The one helping me was fairly decent and kind but the others not so much.

I might return and try other items as many things looked...

I really wanted to like this place considering i always go to the Pembroke Pines location. I went yesterday for the first time since they’ve opened and was severely disappointed. Firstly, I got a Tropical Wrap; you can tell the woman making my wrap was new there because she had no idea how to make it, which would’ve been fine if she had at least be taught how to properly close the wrap. By the time she had finished putting everything in started to try to close it, everything started falling apart and coming out the side. More than half of my meat was gone. Keep in mind i had paid an extra $7 for chicken. Secondly, I asked for a tomato wrap and she gave me whole weat. I clarified to make sure and she said “don’t worry its tomato it just looks different”. It 100% was not tomato. Third, of course by the time I try to eat the wrap everything falls apart on my hands making it unbearable and of course unenjoyable. And four, you can tell they put sink water in the smoothies, thats all i tasted in my drink. I hope this place does better for future customers, but I definitely don’t see myself returning which is very sad because it had the potential to be great. Please do better and train your staff better, I understand the place is new but if you know someone is still in training don’t leave them alone during peak...

In short, Davie Smoothie Spot has ruined me for all other smoothie joints. If you haven't visited yet, do yourself a favor and GET THERE ASAP!
