This was a great 2 hour tour of the everglades. Captain Wayne was informative and funny and the airboat ride itself is just cool and something to be experienced. Before booking, I called to ask why I would pay so much for 2 people for an airboat ride when there are so many that charge less. Everything I was told encouraged me to pay the higher price....it is a private tour, the captain takes time to explain the history of the everglades, you travel deep into the interior, a couple stops for pictures and a highly experienced captain. We were not disappointed! The landscapes are beautiful, the history was very interesting and just the 2 of us on the boat made it feel it was made for us - but there is no way to be sure what you will see. Of course, this is not the company's fault. We saw many birds but very few alligators, which Captain Wayne told us might be the case and the few we did see were scared away. The boat is fast and loud so the alligators would drop under water immediately. I wish we could have traveled a bit slower in the areas where they have an idea there may be alligators. It may have made a difference for sightings. The price for a tour with 4 or 6 people would have been better but to pay $400 including tip for 2 people was a bit high when there are no guarantees. Definitely consider what you expect from this trip. We enjoyed our ride but would not pay...

We booked this trip the night before based on the reviews we read. Everyone talked about how great the boat itself was, how knowledgable the guide was, and how extraordinary the trip in general was. Those reviews were absolutely spot on. When we sent the inquiry less than 12 hours before we wanted to depart, we received a response in less than an hour. We were booked and ready to go - instructions were clear, and the boat pulled up to get us right on time. We were the only passengers for the tour, so it really was private. Captain Wayne is fantastic. So knowledgeable, so passionate, and knew exactly where to take us to see all kinds of wildlife, not just the gators (though we saw many of them, big and small). We passed several other tourboats along the way - the boats didn't look nearly as nice and they were PACKED with people. We could only imagine everyone was very jealous of our private trip and great watercraft. We absolutely recommend this trip, Captain Wayne, and the experience to anyone looking for an exciting day out...
