I've updated my review to be a bit less reflective of my one extremely poor experience. Over the last month or two I have returned to my trend of visiting TSC regularly. Apparently the food was just too good to resist. That being said, to avoid an experience like my previous one I have started ordering with the app and just picking up my order. However, all of the new faces have been kind enough and the food and smoothies have been delicious.
I will leave my previous experience below, but I wanted to update my rating and review to just be a bit more honest of my current feelings about my more recent visits!
Previous 1 Star Review: I just had a terrible experience at this location. I have been a regular here for months, 2-3 times a week. I will not be coming back.
I came in to order a smoothie and noticed the place was empty so i figured I wouldn't make them start up the grill, but then the employee said that they had been busy so I figured I would get a wrap, after ordering the employee angrily slammed the kitchen door open and immediately started complaining very loudly that she hates people, proceeded to tell another employee how I was a stupid customer and how much she "hates, hates, hates making food."
I'm not as much angry as I am confused, I mean, this is a cafe right? Am I not supposed to order items from the menu? It actually really hurt my feelings and I just felt very awkward and out of place. Like I said, I won't be...
Read moreIf I could leave zero stars I would. We love tropical smoothie but have been extremely unhappy with our local franchise. We love to patronize local restaurants and are totally okay with having a mishap or two, however the last 5 times in a row we have ordered from Davison tropical smoothie we have received horrible service. We have had one or more items left out of our order and the people working are not friendly or wanting to provide quality service. When asking for a manager multiple attempts went without help. We are told, "she's not here, call back another time and speak with her" No one ever calls us back and they have acknowledged that the items are "still here" after we complain about missing them. Read moreWhy is it I can order in the app for delivery and when the shop messes up I can’t get a refund. The “manager” on staff said I can’t do anything except tell the general manager. I said that works and went to hang up. I asked him if he wanted my number.
2 issues, 1. why have a manager who can’t fix order issues? 2. If I order what I paid for and they confirm the items were still at the store, why do they make me feel obligated to let them keep the money I spent.
The idiocracy of them always saying it’s a DoorDash issue infuriates me. I ordered in your app to avoid inflated DoorDash prices so you should be able to refund…..it’s your app! The talk tracks could literally be written out to help these 9 year old managers have a conversation...
