Firehouse Subs — Restaurant in Dayton

We actually have stopped going to the firehouse close to our home (near Hixson, Tn) because the service is unbelievably horrendous and they are so unfriendly, but tonight we were going through Dayton and decided to give this location a try…. WOW WHAT A PLEASANT SURPRISE!!!! Not only were they friendly but also accommodating- (yes I know you are as shocked as we were to hear that in today’s world!!!). I had a question about the brisket and the manager actually went to the trouble of making sure the fat was separated for me (without me asking ) and didn’t make me feel as though I was “inconveniencing” her!!! I rolled up at 12pm and they are like hey, I hope it’s cool that u might need to wait like 20 minutes cuz somebody just came in before you and ordered 20 sandwiches. Actually that is NOT OK they should call ahead, you should tell them they need to wait like 90 minutes because you need to service the lunch crowd. I don't tend to be a typical customer. I don't like a salad in my sandwich so I tend to have just meat and cheese. I ordered the large Virginia Honey ham sandwich tonight. The ham was tasty but for a sandwich that was priced at $11.39 there was an inch of bread on either end with no meat on it. I took picture I was so disgusted.
