Worst customer service experience EVER. A long time ago (months-year maybe) we tried to order pizza and it never showed up, I called and they claimed they couldnāt deliver because I didnāt put in my phone number but I DID because itās a required thing to fill out. They canceled the order and I didnāt call until like 20 mins past the quoted time. The guy was nice and made us another pizza and we went to pick up.
Last week, we figured we would try again. So I ordered as normal, entered the phone number but then as a back up, put the phone number in the comments also and told them their system says I donāt input my phone number . Pizza was delivered, no problems so I thought I had found the solution to their app ordering problem.
Today I place the order through the app, put my phone number in, also put it in the comments just in case and I get a phone call telling me they canāt dispatch my pizza because I put the phone number in the notes. I said well⦠I did it that exact same way last week and it worked fine since your system always says I donāt put my phone number in. She tells me doordash (who I didnāt order through) says my phone number is already in use. She also says itās saying I paid but it says paid by null. She also says she was the one dealing with my order last week and remembers about the phone number in the comments. I asked how that worked last week and didnāt this week, she doesnāt know. So my pizza is sitting there getting cold, finally my husband agrees to go get it, keep in mind I paid $6.40 delivery fee through Godfathers App and then tipped $5.00 on top of that. Did I get a gift card or anything to cover that? No. There is no way for me to contact doordash about this because I DIDNāT Place the order through doordash. Iām not sure how your own app is ran by doordash and you have no control over anything. Hopefully my bank can take care of the overpayment since we had to go get it ourselves. Needless to say this will be our last time dealing with this Godfathers pizza location. Iāve never had a single issue ordering from the bellbrook/Centerville store for pick up. There is clearly a problem on their end and they want to blame it on me instead of finding a solution. Its not like Iām an older person who doesnāt understand how to order food through an app, there is a problem they need to figure out...

For those of you who have not been there before, the service model is different.
When you enter, go to the counter to order and pay. They hand you plates and your drinks on a tray. Take your tray and drinks to walk around to find a table. Sit down and get settled. A server shows up and asks you if they can take your tray. (I put my plate and cup on the table and handed it over to the server.) Realize you have no napkins or silverware. Figure out that napkins, forks, and knives are self-service. When the server returns, respond that you want a drink refill. (They were very attentive on this.) Go to the self-serve station to grab napkins and tableware. Wait a total of about 20 minutes to get your pizza delivered to your table. Get refills as desired when asked. Enjoy your pizza!
The partial full-serve and self-serve model is different than most places. It works, but you need to figure it out if you're a first-timer at this Godfathers.
The dining room staff was very attentive and with three or more servers working the area, I never felt abandoned or neglected.
I will return. I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOf course the pizza here is fantastic; you don't need another review to figure THAT out! So here are a few helpful details about this specific location ...
The hours are very limited - no weekday lunch and closed Mondays - which is disappointing, because we'd eat here every week if we could.
It's a comfortable enough place to eat-in, including a small salad bar, tons of seating, and several TV's. Carryout is simple and fairly quick, though like most pizzarias you'll want to subtract 5 minutes from the time they say it'll be ready. They provide a ridiculously generous number of parmesan and red pepper packets with takeout.
Service is ok, certainly not bad, just not overly enthusiastic. The whole place dies look sparkling clean. They have this bizzare separate entrance door labeled "Carryout", which is like 10 feet from the other entrance, and which leads to the exact same part of the building. Sometimes, just to make a point, I use the non-carryout door to pick up my to-go order. I'm a rebel that way.
Finally, this store doesn't accept coupons from the Godfathers website or from any other sources. Prices are on the high side, so don't be...
