McDonald's — Restaurant in Dayton

UPDATE: Now giving 5 stars! They tore down the old building and built a whole new McDonald's there. This includes all new drive-thru lanes!!! You can now pull into the lot and THEN pull into one of the TWO drive-thru lanes. So, no more people jumping in line any more AND there's more than one lane! Haven't been there many times since the new building was built but, has been all good every time I've been there. 😁

First off, I only gave 4 stars because of the drive-thru lanes, which I will go into in a minute. I have been through the drive- thru here numerous times over many years and they do a very good job with taking your order and getting it right a majority of the time. Nice friendly staff except for the occasional yelling of a supervisor at the staff which I have actually heard clearly at the drive-thru window. I think that this could be handled better!! Also, the way the lanes are laid out at the drive-thru should be changed! If you've ever been there you know exactly what I'm talking about. There are lanes on both sides of the drive-thru lane, one to take you into the shopping center and one to take you out. So! You have people cutting in line while you are sitting there waiting your turn to continue on into the drive-thru!! It doesn't matter if you have your turn signal on, that you're turned that direction, nothing stops these people from pulling this on you. It doesn't happen often but, it does happen. Anywho, the inside is nicely remodeled and looks great! I went inside with my kids and granddaughter yesterday 9/26/17 and it was very nice and the staff were very accommodating. Looks like they keep it clean so no complaints there. So, over all as far as fast food restaurants go, this place is a great place to go and get a bite to eat. They are busy a lot so try and pick a good time of day to go as well. Like, not at times people are going to work, lunch...

I visited this McDonalds after church. We decided to go through drive thru and then to park to eat. The drive thru wait was the longest I'd ever experienced in all my years of going to McDonald's. There was only 3 cars in front of us?! Having worked for McDonald's in Indiana, I could not understand this. When I got to the window to pay, i asked who the manager was, i just wanted a name. The girl calls someone named Amanda to the window. I told her this was the longest I've ever waited, and before i could say anymore she replies" yah, I know. I'm not the manager tho" I then said who is? I've worked for McDonald's and this is unacceptable the wait with only 3 cars in line. She rambled off a name, a Paul someone, and said hes not here now. I said I only wanted a name as I'm reporting this to McDonald's. We drive away, and once at the park are opening our meal and what's hanging on my sandwich a long dark hair!!! We threw the meal away. I'm very, very disappointed in McDonald's. For being a "family" restaurant, I give it a 1 on a scale of 1 to 10. 10...
