Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Dayton

I quit coming to this location shortly after it opened due to my order either was always wrong or was missing items. We went today and it was a mistake. The sandwich I ordered I realized as soon as I vit into it was not correct. Once we get back and I go inside I am told that the manager is not there. and there is no one in charge or a crew lead at all. While I was waiting for my sandwich to be ready there were 2 other people who also did not get their correct order. I checked my sandwich and left. After taking a bite after we left Popeye's I realized that the chicken is burnt and the crispy part is so hard you can't eat it, bacon is burnt and the cheese was cold and was not melted like it is supposed to come. I would have been fine with cold cheese but now I have a sandwich that is not edible due to it being cooked too long. The only good thing about this location was today has been the first time that the cashier they had working was nice, went out of his way to every customer I saw him talk to and kept telling each customer he apologized for the mistake and was trying to go above and beyond to make sure the customer needs were met. I recently had the chance to visit Popeyes, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. They greeted me with friendly smiles and were more than happy to help with my order. Now, let's talk about the food! 🍗 I tried their classic fried chicken, and it was everything I hoped for and more. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, bursting with flavor. I also sampled their biscuits, and they were light, fluffy, and oh so buttery! Will no longer go to this location. Too many times have I been given mashed potatoes (and it’s always mashed potatoes) instead of red beans and rice. I’m assuming the workers don’t feel like dealing with the red beans and rice so they just give mashed potatoes. I’ve had to go in and ask for red beans and rice in exchange of the incorrect mashed potatoes, which is always a waste of time, especially after already sitting in the drive thru line for a hot minute. At this point, it’s not an honest mistake if they always substitute the red beans and rice for mashed potatoes. Waste of money. At least give me Mac and cheese if not the red beans and rice, orrrrrr just give me what I ask for in the first place.
