Went here on the first night of our trip to Daytona Beach... wasn't a good start to the trip. There were 5 in our group and we were the only customers when we arrived, 2 more groups came in after us. My son and I decided to split a supreme pizza with no olives. After about 20 - 30 minutes all the food came out. There was a huge pile of olives on the pizza. My wife explained to her I really don't like olives. She looked confused and stared at her original ticket for our order. After an awkward amount of time had passed she said "Well they really piled them on, that's insult to injury. This must be someone else's order". She took the pizza away and said she'd take care of it. 10 minutes she came back with a pizza, no olives. My wife looked at me and asked if I think they just dug them all out. The pizza looked like hands had been digging through it. I went ahead and took a bite out of a piece. It was full of olive juice. Closer look there were still olives in it. I didn't want to make a scene so we waited for the waitress to come back...when it was clear she wasn't coming back I told my son to eat it, he doesn't mind olives. 20 minutes later she finally came back (we were her only table). We asked her why they picked them off instead of remaking the pizza. She apologized and said she'll have them remake it. At this point we had been there over an hour I didn't want to spend another hour there. We got out bill, to my surprise, there was a charge for a supreme pizza (no olives). We just paid the bill and left. My wife and I both worked food service for 10+ years of our lives and I couldn't imagine doing something like that to a customer. I don't know if the waitress was to blame, the cook in the back or a non-existent manager. Either way we definitely won't be back...

Fratnelli’s Pizzeria should be ashamed for what they’re serving people. I ordered eggplant parm and what I got was a depressing, half-assed pile of plain pasta and ONE sad little slice of eggplant; yes, one thin, soggy, lifeless sliver. No layering. No seasoning. No effort. It looked like they ran out of eggplant and hoped I wouldn’t notice. Newsflash: I noticed.
The pasta wasn’t even boiled in salted water. Amateur hour. And the sauce? The woman claimed it was homemade…. either that’s a lie, or she’s making it in a kitchen without taste buds. It was so bland and lifeless, I would’ve preferred a jar of store-bought marinara. That’s how low the bar was.
I paid extra for cheese, thinking it would be a bigger portion of eggplant, nope. Nothing. Might as well just paid for air at this point.. It was like eating flavorless hospital food dumped from a tray. For over $16, it was straight-up insulting.
And don’t even get me started on the pizza. We ordered extra toppings, and it came out undercooked like soft, raw dough stuck to cardboard. My friends literally threw it away because it was that inedible. We didn’t even bother taking a photo that’s how disgusted we were!
We had just driven 3 hours to Daytona and were starving, and somehow this place managed to make us angrier and hungrier after spending money. That takes real talent. The only thing they cooked up well was regret. You would think a little hole in the wall would be a hidden gem. WRONG. $54 total, i might as well ripped our cash up and kissed it goodbye.
If this is what Fratnelli’s thinks Italian food is, then Olive Garden deserves a...
Read moreWe’re here on vacation and decided to give Fratelli’s a shot since it was close and we wanted to try a local pizza place and not a big chain. Immediately upon walking in we find that one two tables we’re occupied by families and the rest were completely covered in dirty dishes and leftover food. The only table that was clean had a pair of headphones and a cell phone being charged on it. The sign at the front said “please seat yourself”. No one had spoken to us yet so I grabbed two menus and my husband ushered us out to the few tables outside. There was only one left that was unoccupied but it had someone’s leftover take home box and soda can on it. We moved those off and sat down and started to look at the menu. I realized i couldn’t see my husband or son around the umbrella so we tried to open it but it was broken. We sat for another 10ish minutes and no one ever came out to us. We decided to pack our stuff up and walk back to the car. As I was buckling my son in, an employee finally came out but it was only to pick up the menus that we had left on the table. Was really looking forward to checking this place out. Extremely disappointed. We were starving so unfortunately Pizza Hut got our...
