Salty Pint — Restaurant in Daytona Beach Shores

While on our last full day in Daytona we were searching for dinner food that was not going to be heavy on our stomachs for the early drive home the next morning. Traditionally "pub" food does not meet that criteria but after reviewing the menu and reviews we decided to give the Salty Pint a try. It was delicious and had traditional sandwiches with a little twist of ingredients that really brought out new flavors to old favorites. I personally had the "A-Frame" which was excellent!

It is a friendly place for our family and the kids (13 & 11) enjoyed playing the ring & hook game with some other people that were there. As an added bonus the bartender came over and made a blind reverse throw that caught on the 1st try. He just walked away while the kids were amazed. =)

We came here for the Nor'eastern Roast Beef with Horseradish sandwich and were not disappointed. Delicious sandwich! We poured for the potato salad side which was very good. For those of you from Buffalo, this is a Beef on Weck. We brought friends on our second visit to the Salty Pint. Again hubby & I had the Nor'eastern and our friends each got a different sandwich. They thought their selections were delicious. This is not a large place, but friendly people, great music to listen to while enjoying some delicious sandwiches. I never take the time to write these types of reviews but I was absolutely blown away by this little place I found down here in Daytona Beach. As soon as I walked in I knew I'd found something awesome. Incredible food, great beer, and a refreshingly welcoming and genuine staff. Probably THE BEST rueben I've ever had. The freshest bread and it was obvious no corners were cut in regards to the quality of meats and ingredients they use.
