Metz Lounges — Restaurant in Daytona Beach Shores

Jojo is the rudest bartender in Daytona Beach. Walked in earlier today while another bartender was working and ordered 1 drink, left and came back, couldn't get Jojo to acknowledge me so I played a few games of darts, once I was done I approached the bar and asked for a drink, I was informed that Jojo was told by the other bartender to cut me and my uncle off, I've literally had one drink, she said she wasn't gonna argue with me, I walked out, my uncle is a regular, I'm not from Daytona but I come here often and will not be back. This place has horrible service, it's small AF and the drinks suck. And the other bartender Alex sucked as well, the one drink I ordered was supposed to come in a double shot glass, instead she made it with liquor the isn't in the drink I ordered and proceeded to serve it to me in a mixed drink tall glass. If I could give a -10 stars I would....

Update - we live .4 miles away and we typically walk. I drove last week to get a can opener at the grocery store in the middle of making dinner because my can opener broke. I stopped into Metz for a drink at the shopping center and was on my way out when the bartender Sandy verbally attacked me and accused me of things that I do not do. I left and picked up my can opener and drove home. She had called the police who picked me up at home. I am 61 years old, had a driver's license since I was 16 with no charges and I have never been in trouble my entire life. I spent 24 hours in jail and have been charged with a DUI. After 61 years of a clean record. I have no words. I had never met Sandy in my life. This is confusing but most importantly this one error of walking into Metz has altered my carefully lived life...

Oh, wow! Stumbled across a bar, beach-side, that looked inviting. I'm pretty sure I stumbled across one the best bars in Daytona! I popped in late (10:30) hoping for one last drink, and was luckily accomodated. The bartender could not have been nicer! I'm not sure if her name was Joe, or Joe-Joe, or Jo-Jo, but I am still floored on how a single bar keep can support such excellent service, at such a busy bar. Not sure how she does it, not sure how prices are still local, not sure how the juxbox had awesome tunes pumping out all night, but I know I've found my new local watering hole!
