Had to wait to be seated. Finally sit down and tea isn’t good. Takes forever to put our order in and sit here without anyone stopping by to check on us for at least 15 minutes. Two tables who came in after us get their food before us. I had a country fried steak with a bagel and cream cheese. I didn’t want the bagel toasted. My bf got a steak medium rare. Neither item should take 25 to 30 minutes to cook. Table is dirty with ketchup on it. Not the best environment. Very plain walls with a couple pictures scattered around. Tables are way spread apart which gives some room. The eggs were delicious but the first steak was overcooked and they said that they ran out of the smaller steaks and would have make it a 10 ounce instead. It took 7 minutes. It came out rare. Still not the right temperature but can be handled better than a medium well. However the flavor is terrible and it is such a tough steak. The server did take it off but at that point we were very disappointed and ready to leave. We never had her at the table long enough to even ask for waters because the tea was so bad. So we didn’t really have a drink to go with our meals. Had high hopes going in but was very disappointed and will...
Read moreOur experience here was wonderful! The vibes inside are very bright and clean, and I felt that the entire place looked very sanitary. There was plenty of seating and the booths were comfortable. We came in with our baby and there was plenty of room to navigate the stroller and park it by our table as well.
The food was very fresh and you could tell that they really care about the quality of their ingredients. I ordered the traditional Greek salad with a baked potato. The salad was wonderful and vibrant—you could tell that the veggies were all freshly cut and had not been sitting out for too long. I really appreciated the fresh vs bagged lettuce as it is hard to come by a good, freshly made salad around here that doesn’t cost $20. The baked potato was perfectly cooked and was served with real butter—another highlight for me.
My husband ordered the chicken and waffles, which were also divine. The waffles were fluffy and flavorful, and the chicken tenders were perfectly breaded and seasoned. They were not overcooked and the meat was very decadent and tender.
The prices were very fair and reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. We will definitely come...
Read moreSunday morning, not busy (maybe 6-7 occupied tables). Lady not pleasant says sit whenever you’d like. There’s only 2 of us. We sit at a booth. Another family of 3 adults come in a sit in the booth next to us. We order. They order with a different waitress. Their food comes out. We have 1 plate come out. A few minutes later my plate come out. Eggs, bacon, toast and grits is what I ordered. Eggs, bacon and toast very cold. Grits were hot, I’m guessing to melt the butter. 2nd bite there’s a long hair on the spoon of grits. Tried for a few minutes to get the waitresses attention but she wouldn’t look our direction. I walk over to her where she is eating at the bar. Asked her to come to come to the table. Showed her the hair and she grabs the plate and starts to walk away. She turns and says can I remake this for you. No ma’am, I’m good thank you. She was not rude but short and not pleasant. After the other party at my table is finished we walk up to pay, again not rude but not nice our waitress comes up, then walks away and says to someone “can you take this off”. We will not return. If the situation was handled in a better way we would...
