Checkers — Restaurant in Daytona Beach

We had to eat in a emergency in Daytona Beach Florida before we started more Filming. So I drove us through a parking lot to order some fast food. A woman walked over to our van and asked me for some money. I gave her some money before I ordered our food. The food order process was not easy at all. The employees were very strange. They took my order and money than told me I had to drive around again to pick up my order on the other side of the building. The pickup window process was very stressful 😣😣😬😬☹️! Finally we received our food & parked in their parking lot to eat. We noticed alot of street people walking through the parking lot & one even walked in front of us with the woman that asked me for money into the bushes next to the parking lot & sat on a couch with her. I think that may have been her office where she turned a trick on him for some money. The Chili Hot Dog was cold & very soggy. The banana shake was interesting. Plus the actors stated that their stomachs were hurting after they ate the food. Luckily I threw out my Chili hotdog bun & simply ate the hotdog. I will never eat there again. Very bad customer service...

3 strikes your out. 1st visit for annual bike week and actually had pretty decent service to the point mentioned to manager. He did say that girl was new which may have explained the next two visits which have now caused us to boycott not only what was our favorite Checkers store but the whole chain. Short story, ridiculously rude staff that have less than care or concern about the least bit of customer satisfaction. Pretty simple orders, not only mine but others waiting too incorrect and staff said " that's the way it comes" .....excuse me but as I ordered a chili dog without onion and ketchup that is the way I want it. Never have I been told otherwise but the young lady was adamant about it. She could have cared less about satisfaction. I didn't review this for bike week but hearing my wife's experience from today on a spring break trip to the beach. I an we are done. The rudeness she got today was it. Any business with any care would have explained to her a menu special instead of over charging her and then arguing about it. I went to this location on Friday May 25th at approximately 10:30PM. There was a line of cars about 6 or 7 deep in one drive though line as the other line was closed. I waited for about 5 to 10 minutes and the line did not move. I decided to leave. I came back at about 12:15AM to try again. This time I pull to the order box and I'm told that the "system is down" and if I'm willing to wait "30 to 40 minutes" for the system to reboot, then they can serve me. I tell them no and attempt to leave. However, in the time it took me to get to the box and be told that I have to wait, four cars pulled up behind me and there is one car at the window being served. I was trapped in the drive-through for 5 minutes as I wait for the person in front of me to be served. Both lines should have been open when I first arrived, I should not have to wait a half and hour to be served, and there is no reason for me to have been trapped in the drive though line. I've had some minor inconveniences at this location before, but this was by far the worst I've had at any fast food location. Someone needs to investigate this location and do...
