Where do I even begin? Walking into this so-called “seafood restaurant” was like stepping into a bait shop on a hot summer day — the stench of old fish slapped me in the face before I even sat down. I should have trusted my instincts and turned right back around.
The food? If you can even call it that. I ordered the shrimp platter and what arrived looked like it had been boiled in dirty dishwater and left under a heat lamp for hours. The texture was rubbery, the smell was nauseating, and it tasted like something that had just barely avoided a landfill. I’ve had better seafood from gas stations. No joke.
The calamari was like chewing on deep-fried rubber bands, and the “fresh catch of the day” tasted like it had been caught… last year. Everything was soggy, slimy, and suspiciously lukewarm — a terrifying trifecta. I seriously considered calling the health department mid-meal.
Even the drinks were off. How do you mess up water? Mine tasted like it had been filtered through a rusty anchor.
If you value your taste buds, your dignity, or your digestive system, stay far away from this place. I wouldn’t feed their food to...
Read moreWe visited this location yesterday and immensely enjoyed the clean contemporary design, as well as the perfectly seasoned Dungeness crab 🦀 steam bags. The mild '9 seasoning' was delicious and enjoyable as I have a low spice/heat tolerance.
The lemon pepper wings deserve an award! The temperature was 'from the stove to the plate hot'...I love that, the crispy exterior, tender and juicy interior of the chicken was perfectly balanced - yum yum yummy!!!
But I would be remiss if I didn't mention the high quality service we received from Quingni our hostess/ server. She was attentive to our every need. Before we asked for something she anticipated and provided the majority of our needs. She was friendly, personable, yet professional. There was another server working hard in the background as well. There wasn't a need for her to assist us, but we noticed her diligence in assisting patrons within her area and carrying really heavy dinnerware.
Needless to say, this is now our favorite place to enjoy crabs, wings, and drinks...great happy...
Read moreChose this restaurant because of all the great reviews. Arrived and almost left. Boy are we glad we stayed! The food was fantastic! The service was slow but okay and the check came in a rushed fashion. However, the food was top-notch! The portions were large, the pricing was reasonable for what they delivered, and the seafood was fresh. Between us, we had the mussels, the snow crab legs, the Dungeness crab legs, the blue crab, the headless shrimp, and a sausage/potato/corn. The corn was fresh and not frozen semicolon the potatoes were miniature red potatoes and perfect for smashing in the butter sauce. The sausage was also a really good flavored smoked sausage there were thinly sliced. We all ordered the Cajun mixed with the garlic sauces. The fire hot was spot on for New Orleans spicy. The spicy hot was also very good. We also really enjoyed the $5 drink! We got the one with the vodka, blue curaçao, and lemonade... looks like Windex but was quite delicious. Are 11-year-old got chicken tenders and fries, and even they were great......
