I've been to over 1500 concerts and throw in another 100 of various types. Races, sporting events in Pro and college, even high school. Never had the displeasure of waiting in a non moving line with 150k ppl. I stood in one sport for 2 hours and move 30 ft in the next hour. Through this I watched emergency services carrying people out of the lines into treatment areas or ambulances. All preventable. I realize POTUS was there, however, it was the security that was implemented. It was happless and ill prepared. So many thousands bottlenecked into too few metal detectors. Then the rain started and temperatures dropped. I decided to leave. Never getting on to the race track. Several others decided their health and we'll being was worth more than a race. The people responsible should be criminally charged. The crime of putting at risk the welfare of the souls that became dangerously ill. There was a couple of women in their 50s or so that were Unconscious and unresponsive. I pray they were OK but I don't know. This all while herding the ADA people in wheel chairs in a line that never moved. I know I was next to them, on the far right of the Advent health gate. There was a guy in red Nascar shirt yelling and waving for everyone to move over to the left to allow them to I suppose line up more souls in wheel chairs. I have no idea how thousands of people are supposed move to the left on the voice of one idiot that maybe 30ppl could hear. There were no barriers to guide the line which created the Bottleneck. I saw the potential for a disastrous and dangerous outcome. This should be investigated and the whole security team in the air conditioned offices, should be immediately terminated and if not held criminally, at least civilly responsible. I'm writing this on Monday evening so there has been some cool off period, instead of the anger immediately after. I was in the Daytona International Airport when they decided to restart the race. I know there won't be any of the scenarios that I have opined should happen. The powers that be will just continue to be in the position to make poor decisions and laugh as they count the money. Even during the aftermath of covid and the poorly planned security to show proof of inoculation, it was not as poorly planned or executed as The 2025 Daytona 500. Executed now there's a idea. Everyone that went or attempted to see the race should be comped the total cost of tickets, accommodations, and travel for the ineptitude of those responsible for...

I am sharing based on our experience at Rolex 24 this past weekend. We bought a package that included hot laps, Rolex 24 lounge tickets for the 2 days, and victory lane acces. The on-site service was great throughout, morning, day, and night. The chef inspired food menu was a bit lack luster, and both of us were a little ill from something we ate - we'd only eaten at the track, so something just didn't fare well. (The quality and menu didn't feel so chef inspired, but it was ok.) The bar was open and well stocked - we don't really drink, but many around us were having a great time. Facilities in the Lounge were accessible and kept clean with toiletries available. Being a race fan, my husband was super excited for the race, but the viewing at the track wasn't the best with very few screens to see up close if anything happened when outside. When we went into the Lounge to view on screens, there were so many people, and it was so loud we literally couldn't hear any of the race. Ultimately, on day 1, we headed back to the hotel to actually watch the race. I'm not sure if this is normal as it was our first time attending. Flying across the country to see more of the race in our hotel room was a little pointless. I will say ok day 2, the noise had lessened, and we could hear the race inside. We didn't get to do the hot laps as the track moved them a day forward. Given that we were flying 6.5 hrs to go, we couldn't pivot our plans with less than 48 hours notice. Disappointing start to the weekend. However, the track is providing us with tickets for the Coke Zero 400 with hotlaps for August. We just have to fly back into Daytona during the peak of summer to execute, but hubby wants to do the hot lap, so we will head back. Overall, it was an experience - i wouldnt say it was "bad" but between the hot laps, not being able to enjoy the race on Saturday, and not feeling great we wouldnt say it was "good" either. For the overarching cost of flights, hotel and track package we will not repeat it. We didn't leave mad, just somewhat disappointed. Maybe our expectations were too high? We've been to the track for the 500 and Coke 400 in the past, so it wasn't new to us, but the Rolex 24...

My experience at the Daytona International Speedway was nothing short of thrilling and unforgettable. As a motorsport enthusiast, visiting this iconic venue was a dream come true. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere exuded excitement and anticipation.

The Speedway's sheer scale and impressive facilities were awe-inspiring. The staff members were incredibly welcoming and helpful, ensuring that every guest felt accommodated and ready for an incredible experience.

One of the highlights was taking a tour of the Speedway. The guided tour provided a fascinating insight into the history and legacy of this legendary racetrack. Learning about the iconic moments, legendary races, and the technological advancements that have shaped the Speedway was both educational and captivating.

Witnessing the track itself was a surreal experience. The sheer size and steep banking of the Daytona track are truly remarkable, giving a profound appreciation for the skill and bravery of the drivers who tackle it during high-speed races.

Moreover, getting the chance to explore various sections of the Speedway, including the pit lane, victory lane, and the infield, added depth to the overall experience. The opportunity to stand on the hallowed grounds where motorsport history has been made was an incredible feeling.

The amenities and services provided were top-notch. The facilities were well-maintained, souvenir shops, and viewing areas to ensure that guests had a comfortable and enjoyable time.

Overall, my visit to the Daytona International Speedway exceeded all expectations. The combination of history, adrenaline-pumping racing action, informative tours, and fantastic facilities made it an absolute must-visit for any motorsport enthusiast. The Speedway truly stands as a monument to the sport, and I left with unforgettable memories and a newfound appreciation for the world of racing. I would highly recommend a visit to the Daytona International Speedway to anyone passionate about motorsports or looking for an...
