Have you ever walked into a coffee shop and immediately became friends with the baristas? Well, I did the first time I walked in about a month ago to get something to drink with a gift card I was given. I am a talker and I love getting to meet people and just connect which I discovered is not hard when Pia now known as "Pia- Butter Toast" is your barista. You will have to go in and get a latte and ask her how that nickname came about lol. I usually make espresso drinks at home so had no clue what I wanted to get with my gift card. Pia asked me if I had any nut allergies and I said I did not. She then asked me if I trusted her and I said 100%. She then made me an amazing iced chai tea latte with coconut syrup in it which is a combination I would never think of trying. All I can say is if you have not tried it you have no idea what you are missing. Well, I went back for my second time today and was privileged to have Pia and Hailey as my baristas. I felt like today with Pia and Haley was more like meeting up with old friends at a coffee shop to catch up than me being a customer there to buy a drink. I asked Pia to write down their names because I wanted to do a review and of course, she had to give Hailey an identifier to go with her name also so she is now forever known to me as "Hailey Nails" lol. I live in Sanford and am about 3 miles away from a new Foxtail and about 8 miles away from another Foxtail but because of the amazing customer service I have received, I will happily hold off getting my drinks so I can stop in a couple of times a month at Foxtail -...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirstly, the coffee has been amazing and the other girls working were amazing! We are regulars and will continue to visit unless this is addressed. Secondly, I have never encountered such unprofessional and downright appalling behavior from an employee as I did today at Foxtail Coffee. At 1:15 PM, a girl in a black polo shirt and glasses, with visible cuts and tattoos on her arms, walked in to start her shift. From the moment she arrived, she was loud, obnoxious, and spewing profanity while openly discussing an argument she had outside of work. Not only was she completely inappropriate in her demeanor, but she was also outright rude and dismissive to customers.
This is not the first time weāve had issues with her. Just the other night, we arrived 30 minutes before closing, only to be told they werenāt technically closed but that we still couldnāt get coffee because she had already shut off the machines. Another time, she rudely refused to add flavoring to a latte or cappuccino. When my friend pointed out that weāve had this done beforeāboth at this location and at the Ormond branchāher response was beyond unprofessional. She insulted the Ormond employees, calling them āstupidā for making drinks the way we requested.
Itās shocking that someone with such a terrible attitude is allowed to represent this company. If management cares at all about customer experience, they need to address this employeeās behavior immediately. We love Foxtail Coffee, but if this is the kind of service we can expect, weāll be taking our...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThoroughly disappointed this last visit. I was happy to have discovered Foxtail a few months ago and have been back several times. I have to agree with Taylor and Adam, the newest and last two reviews. I was actually there when Taylor had that conversation. When she left, a young male customer started talking about her to the employees and they chimed right in in agreement. The one young lady who took my order for a cup of coffee (nothing fancy, just a regular coffee in a cup), smiles at you but seems to have an underlying attitude, almost patronizing (she took my order the last time I was in, and I did detect the same attitude). Maybe it's the nose ring that screams, "I'm better than you!"? I moved around the corner and waited for my cup of coffee. And, waited. And, waited... Finally, I say something to her about my coffee. She tells me that there were several drinks queued up, that's why it was taking so long. Oh? Including the two cups you poured for the lady who was behind me in line? Oh, so many drinks in the queue that it wasn't urgent to attend to making coffee for your customers but rather chit chat with the other baristas? Lastly, how do you get piping hot coffee every other time you're there but this last time the coffee is lukewarm? If she was a manager then she needs to refresh herself in customer service. If she wasn't a manager, then maybe the manager needs to tell her to cut the chit chat until the customers are served in a...
