Insomnia Cookies — Restaurant in Daytona Beach

UPDATE after I posted this review, I was asked to email customer service because they wanted to make things right. I emailed back and forth 3-4 times where I was asked multiple times to show proof of purchase, and the last email I received had the wrong name on it- like the greeting had a different female’s name. Needless to say, it has not been followed up with anything to make thing right. It was just questions asking for more specifics. I will definitely not be visiting an Insomnia Cookie at any location ever again.

I brought my niece there. She wanted a cookie with two scoops of ice cream. The worker was distracted because she was on the phone throughout our entire interaction. When we got our BOX with ice cream and the cookie, we sat down to have it. The double chocolate ice cream tasted so odd and we couldn’t place it. Ultimately it was gross. We asked the employee if she could get another flavor since she wouldn’t be eating that one. The employee was very curt (still on her phone call) and said “No, it’s too late.” There was no one else in there, and we left our box of uneaten ice cream. We definitely will not be back, and most definitely will tell other people to avoid that place. So many better options just right...

Ordered from here a few weeks ago through doordash. Ordered 2 brownies with ice cream and somehow only 2 brownies got delivered with no ice cream to be seen. I called them and the person that answered the phone told me "I'm so sorry, I'm the one who packed the order and the ice cream is still right here." They proceeded to tell me that they won't have a driver to deliver it until after midnight....it was 9 p.m. They told me to just order it again...absolutely not. They cancelled my order on their end and I cancelled through doordash (which is exactly what the lady on the phone told me to do). In the following weeks I have been denied my refund by both insomnia and doordash multiple times when it was insomnia cookies fault. $33 for 2 tiny brownies....
