UPDATE As of June(2025) We were at Hibachi grill today and they "also" UPGRADED their dining room . The seats and tables are looking good (not their old taped up seats)
Their food was also "stepped up" still great food, clean buffet tables and they are constantly restacking the supply of food
The CRAB LEGS are still on the menu nightly instead of holidays AND for $29.99 you get BOTH the regular buffet along with the crab legs.
Right at this time dinner's are $17.99 for all you can eat NOW, they have snow crabs Yay...we had dinner (all you can eat) here today for Easter There are just the two of us and as my regulars know I HATE TO COOK so on holidays we go out. (Ok, all the time not just holidays)
Again, NOW they have crab legs and what a deal
There prices are excellent As of this date, everyday, their dinner meal is $17.99 which is a bargain nowadays especially for a buffet
On holidays the price rises up to $20.99, again great price AND now for an extra $10.00 you can get the All you can eat BOTH regular dishes WITH crab legs
You CANNOT switch to have the crab legs at the dinner price. They do watch closely if you try and sneak them and when you pay they WILL charge you that extra $10.00
I paid for the extra but all I ate were the crab legs. There wasn't any way I could eat both 3lbs worth When it comes to shrimp or crabs I eat A LOT
Mark is not interested in shell fish so he has his regular meal AMERICAN FOOD (At a Chinese restaurant) He LOVES his steaks, hams, Turkey (not turkey, chicken) I'm just saying there is Turkey and chicken), corn beef , mashed potatoes, vegetable and you get the drift of the delicious American foods.
Although, the restaurant is VERY crowded, we've never had to wait especially out side like a lot of bussiness you go to This restaurant is HUGH, Not your regular large but HUGH
I HIGHLY recommend you eat here and when you read my review below, you will find more of my regular review on this restaurant
This is a buffet restaurant. (You can also come in, and pick out your "to go" order. They will weigh it, then pay)
Such a HUGH variety of items to choose from. They also have some American food. On holidays, they use our traditional Turkeys and Ham I am not a fan of going on Christmas when there is Turkey ONLY because I couldn't even get NEAR the turkey. Everyone was like salivating over it. They put turkey out of turkey and still couldn't have everyone satisfied (ME)
BUT, it's amazing how many different kinds of food, salads, raw, even desserts.
At dinner they offer Sushi and, sizzling steaks they also cook your favorite dish when you pick out your special meal. PLEASE, PLEASE when you are getting your sushi, steaks and special orders, DON'T forget to tip these cooks. They work extra hard to give US this special that is included in our price of meals. So many do NOT tip and I find that rude.
They added Crab legs to the dinner menu for $29.99
This restaurant is ALWAYS busy but it's sooo large, we never have to wait for a seat. GREAT for family gatherings because there is enough room for all. Sorry, no separate area...
Read moreThis place is a local favorite. This establishment caters to tourists as well. Most people love a buffet and the hibachi grill does it well. You can enjoy cold, peel and eat shrimp, or sushi, accompanied by an assortment of cold salads. For entree you have traditional Asian dishes to choose from, with American fare and a hot seafood pasta. Often there is an assortment of seafood including crawfish, muscles, baked fish and clams. Nanny people enjoy the cooked to order hibachi grill where you put together your own choice of raw, fresh ingredients and the chef prepares the meal for you while you wait with sauces of your choice. Grilled steak is served after 3:30pm and a new addition is all you can eat Alaskan crab legs, for an additional charge. They have lunch pricing until 3:30 and then they add upgraded items to the buffet for supper at a higher price. If you have a big appetite, or just like variety, it is a good deal. The food is usually hot and fresh. They have various desserts as well, including hand scooped Ice cream. Everyone gets a fortune cookie with the bill. It's an enjoyable place to eat, unless you catch a bad day, or time, when it's not busy and the food can get old. It's best to go during busy times to ensure the is plenty of turnover and the food stays hot and fresh. They do really well keeping the food stocked and clean dishes available. There's ample seating. The staff and management really care that you enjoy your experience. They have worked very hard to keep going post COVID and seem to be back on track with business. Give it a try. You will probably enjoy the experience. If the Supreme buffet doesn't appeal to you for any reason, no matter the time of day, they will cook to order, a fresh, piping hot plate of food for you, of your choosing. That's why they call it the Hibachi Grill. Just bring a big appetite. 🧧🥠🏯 They do take out as well, which they...
Read moreThis Chinese buffet looks like every other one I have been to across the country, so I had high hopes... But alas, sadly disappointed. We have a 15 year tradition of doing Chinese buffet on Thanksgiving, no matter where we happen to be in the country. Usually we have the place mostly all to ourselves, but not at this one in Daytona... There was a line to get in and it was so busy they couldn't keep up with the food.
So, one thing I will say is that most of the food seemed fresh and well prepared. Also our waiter was friendly and attentive. What I was able to eat tasted good... But they ran out of sushi quickly and most of what they offered has the fake crab in it which I can't eat (it usually contains gluten and I have Celiac) . Then ... This is the only Chinese buffet I've ever been to that didn't have gluten free soy sauce. Totally messed up the sushi experience. I was happy they did have seaweed salad and ginger slices.
The biggest disappointment was that most of it was fried American food and not Chinese food at all. They did not have most of my favorites like the mushrooms, bok choy, baked salmon, the spinach things (which isn't Chinese but most places have it). The only Chinese dish other than sushi that wasn't battered and fried was chicken and broccoli (which was good).
Again, the little choices I could eat were yummy, particularly the green beans and the mixed vegetables, but it didn't feel like Chinese buffet too me.
Oh! Another thing was when I ordered hot green tea, they brought regular black tea in a mug like at a diner.... NOT a metal teapot and a little teacup like at every other Chinese place I've ever been to all over the country. Boring... 🙄.
Overall, good food, great choices if you don't actually want Chinese food and if you don't have food sensitivities or allergies. But it wasn't what I...
