Gordon Food Service Store — Local services in Daytona Beach

I love this store I do not know why I have never been there sooner. However having said that now that I have found it I will shop there many many times over and over great prices great selection one phone call I got an entire order of everything I wanted within 24 hours from 00 flour and bulk to large cans of tomatoes that I wanted to make pizza with everything is there for you Yes it's in bulk, yes it's in large portions but, you can break it up and freeze it some of it is already pre-wrapped or you can buy like whole loins of meat take it home cut it freeze it it'll stay for years in your freezer you will save so much money and and and the quality of the meat that I bought the flower everything that I purchased was good quality now it was my first visit keep that in mind but what I purchased was fantastic and by the way great prices on the meat that is frozen great prices thank you gordons I will shop there again in fact I will probably be there tonight or...

I visited this store around early to mid-2019 and didn't have the best walking around/shopping experience. I usually go inside grocery stores to not only buy food, but sometimes just to explore and look at inventory. One of the employees at the time asked me if I needed help, and told them no. Felt like I was being watched from time-to-time even though I was looking at the packaged bottled water, which was pricier than normal. I also felt as though as the prices were higher than average for other products. In summary: Two stars given due to an employee wondering why I was just exploring and not purchasing anything, and No. 2 the prices were steeper than I would usually see.

This store has a great selection of commercial products where anyone can shop without a membership or account. I've shopped here a few times being in the culinary profession, it has never been remotely crowded as I think primarily people place orders online and just pick them up. Regardless it's a nice smaller store that's super clean. I will say thst they don't not have an overwhelming amount of any one thing so if you need something in bulk as a restaurant operator restaurant depot is the better choice. I did once need pizza doughs and bought the 2 cases that they had, which worked fine but that was there entire stock for example.
