Don’t go if you care about the people making your food.

I recently noticed the ability to tip on credit card purchases was turned off. After asking the staff about it I was told this was a managerial decision. The staff at this location have always been incredibly friendly and professional. In the many times I’ve stopped by I’ve never once received a wrong order or had any issues. Taking away the ability for customers to show their appreciation for the staff is so wrong. In a world using less and less cash how can management expect their employees to receive any substantial compensation for their performance? The workers here deserve all the tips they earn. And as someone who works in the service industry and relies on tips themselves it’s bewildering that management would choose to impact their employees tips like this. Absolutely disgusted. If this type of treatment is common for their employees I’d stay away. As if a job doesn’t care about their employees enough to not arbitrarily retract their ability to collect tips then employees won’t care about their job...

Walked in and ordered my favorite sub. I took one bite and realized it was not up to my satisfaction so asked if they can make me a fresh sub, and this is where it all went downhill! The lead employee did not like this idea as his body language clearly indicated, he proceeded to tell me that he would charge me again for the sub unless he makes the new sandwich from my discarded scraps. I walked out of the store in disbelief, leaving my food and beverage behind. What a poor decision making, corporate should look into hiring quality people that are trained to handle food and customers in professional manner. Pull this same scenario at any other food facility and see how they would handle it? Owner of this particular franchise needs to pay attention to incidents like these, perhaps spend some time on coaching and observing. This is what gives Jimmy Johns brand really bad reputation! If I could live in this Jimmy John's, I would. I LOVE Jimmy John's. My favorite sandwiches are: the Italian Nights, the Vito, the turkey, and the ham. The sub bread is fluffy but strong, I ask for the sub bread to be scooped out (trying to decrease the glutens) in order to add extra veggies, and make it easier to hold with both hands & wolf it down. I personally never order extra meat, the regular amount is more than enough for a meal. They also offer a thick multigrain wheat sandwich bread slice choice for the none wolf-like feasting patrons. The offerings include: (a) wraps called Slim Jims with just the meat, (b) vegetarian subs & sandwiches, (c) double meat, (d) chips & huge single wrapped cookies, (e) fountain drinks & sweet and unsweetened brewed tea, (f) mini sub packs, and (g) party packages/ catering packages.
