There’s so many places to start. This was my first time going to a Cracker Barrel, although I’ve seen them in my travels, and it was not a disappointment. Upon entering the doors, you’re greeted by a fabulous gift shop. It boasts nearly anything one would want; from shoes and decor to toys and old fashioned candies. The restaurant itself is old world charming with a country flare and very spacious. All the service personnel/servers were friendly and more than accommodating. The prices were wonderful, especially when you factor in the amount of food your served: very very affordable. The food was delicious and reminded me all the comfort food my grandma used to make. If you haven’t been yet, give yourself, or better yet, your whole family a treat and stop by. Your family will love it.

We had to order at the restaurant due to the number of calls for curbside orders. I ordered dumplings and did not receive them (although they were crossed off the food items I ordered (as though it had been placed in the bag). The green beans were well seasoned but were not even warm when I started eating them. Also I ordered cornbread muffins (they were out), so I was given dark (top) , hard biscuits. I tried to order online so the order would be prepared by the time we arrived, but I couldn’t order the gravy on the side. If you’re forced to order online, you should be able to order precisely what you want. I called the manager and told them about the cold beans and missing (and charged for) dumplings and she said she would make sure I am given a free entree.

All chicken and a few dumplings! I used to love this place but who ever is plating to go orders just lacks customer service Waiting over 30 minutes for something I’m sure is in the pot however I asked for extra dumpling juice because last time they were so dry and starchy I needed a knife to eat them! I’m mad at myself for not checking my order before I left! Why can you go to chicken fa la and get quality food and great service and never issues it’s like other restaurants needs to follow what ever they do because this getting ridiculous we pay for a service we’re not getting! Update pictures of Quality control and what should have happened the order but appreciate the fix!!

The worst Cracker Barrel I've ever been to. Their guest relations skills are terrifying. I made a to go order of almost $19.00. The waiter gave me the wrong order. I called back and spoke to a manager on duty and he said I was right. My meal is at the store. I explained I couldn't go back because was at work. I went back today . This time I had my daughter with me. We order but I had to wait 10 minutes for utensils and I had to ask another waiter for the utensils. The waiter also forgot my straw and the gravy to the burned biscuits. The bacon was so toast it crumbled like bacon bits. I was not happy. The quality of the French toast was horrible. It was not at all the quality we have had in the past. The waiter came back with a bill of $8.00 and said just paid for the other meal of $14.00. I explained to her that I paid $19.00 before and I was not happy so I asked to speak with the manager. In the meantime, I pulled the charge of that date and show it to the manager and said to him that I am paying the difference of the total amount which it was about $5.00. The manager then said what about gratuity. How much gratuity are you leaving for her service. He got nerves! I had the burned biscuits and bacon and had to wait for my utensils and my gravy and my straw for over 10 minutes. The biscuits and bacon were cold and my grits too. I just did not eat the food I have left it all including the drink. My daughter did eat her food even though she hated the quality of the French. The manager had an attitude and insisted that I pay for the 14.00 meal and he said if he add my drink which I did not touch the bill will come to the $19.00. I just looked at him and said. I have been taken advantage and con but I will Pay the $8.00 and will never ever come back. The manager crumbled the receipt and said I just take care of it. The attitude in front of other guest was so embarrassing. I will never ever go back. I went to AT&T across the street and they said We don't even go there. Their customers service is the worst. I couldn't agree more. I took my daughter because we are both travel agent and the restaurant was one of my choices to offer our clients when they come to Daytona. Moving forward that is definitely not going to happen and I advised all my other agents to not offer this location to...

Me and my husband don’t get out much, We figured we try the Cracker Barrel. Neither one of us have ever been there, Daytona Beach, Florida, but we’ve never been to a cracker Barrel ever, and that is what we told our waitress McKenzie, and that’s where the journey began!!! fried chicken easy enough to order and my husband got the meatloaf And an extra side. Well that extra side never came. I didn’t get my fried chicken. I got a piece of chicken. I think it was that, it was hard to tell because it had the whole shaker of parsley on top of it making it look like it was green and disgusting and no way in heck was gonna try that! So, she offers to get me a fried chicken, which is what I ordered to begin with and brought an extra piece of fried chicken, how sweet! NOT!!! Mean while my husband’s food is getting cold and that’s what happened. That Waitress needs to get fired, and I am not like that, and I am a good tipper, and I am telling you that girl has no business being in the food industry. we were there for the early bird specials, Fried chicken with sides and meatloaf with sides and that’s what we ordered and it was the worst food I think I’ve ever seen in my life. I wish I would’ve taken a picture of what she was trying to give me she tries to make it up by bringing me an extra piece of fried chicken at that point that was so disgusted by the bathrooms. I wanted to puke “feces “on the bathroom stall doors where you actually open them are you kidding me? I can keep going on, but why bother I will never go back to Cracker Barrel EVER AGAIN Daytona Beach Florida!!! I don’t care if I am starving to death and it’s the only place on earth to eat I would rather eat grass with the cows. I gave it one star because I had no choice but if I had a choice, that would be zero stars and that waitress got zero tip Because that’s what she deserved to ensure her proper service is what it means McKenzie in case you...

Had my first not as good as usual experience at this location.

Store was not super busy. Wait staff may have been sheit staffed, but didn't really seem that way. Had two "4 star" working in tandem yet didn't get to see ours as often as we would hope.

Order was taken quick. Refills were a little tougher to get but not too bad.

Problem came around with a hair in the Mac and cheese for my son's entree. That happens anywhere. Part 2 was the overcooked chicken tenders (did not mention to that manager as I wasn't trying to get everything compped - not the goal). Part 3 was the undercooked fried shrimp - light brown on the outside and then a actually doughy underneath, this undercooked. Once I discovered this, our waiter didn't come back for 10minutes.

Manager was involved and "made it right" by taking my price off the bill. The sides and the rest of my meal was fine.

The vibe was not really concern about the quality or the mix up, but just here is the procedure to not have a scene. Appreciated the meal being compped so in essence they kind of "did what needed to be done" . Though I indicated " hair in food happens" and didn't over emphasize it, I would think the manager would have been concerned about that too, but was not overly concerned.

It was dinner time on a Thursday with the place maybe 1/4 capacity, so I get every paid meal counts. However, we had planned maybe one or two more visits during our stay in Daytona this year, but will wait until next summer before we go again.

I am sure the industry isn't easy.

I guess the point is that they did the "bare minimum" to make things ok and didn't really go "above and beyond".

Did make sure to tip our waitress, she didn't have control over how it was handled once the manager was engaged..manager was nice and polite, just didn't really go...
