Been to this location here in Daytona several times without an issue however last week my family came in for dinner and had Kate for our server. The service was good for the process of taking our order but then things took a turn for the worst. Upon placing our order we got a dreaded call for anyone that my Mom had been rushed to the hospital so I immediately informed one of the other servers nearby that we needed to switch our order to a to go instead of dining in as expected. Our server then showed up with our check and we paid the bill and was then greeted by another employee with a Togo bag and we left on our way to the hospital. Upon checking in my mother my family then went to the lounge at the hospital to eat our dinner and while pulling out our food we realized that we were not givin the food we had ordered not even close. We had ordered 50 Daytona beach style wings “my favorite” as well as a Texas philly with fries…….. we received 3 different orders of wings and what I know as a Buffalo chicken sandwich instead. Ok so mistakes happen I get that so I called immediately to attempt rectifying the occurrence and was notified the Manager was busy at the moment and was asked for my number and name and was told the manager would call me back. I tried to call back on 2 different occasions since after not receiving a call and was told that Adam?? Would be contacting me now that’s been 4 days ago since I was told that. I called 15 minutes ago and I asked for Adam and was hung up on. This has been very frustrating for my family and myself and although I understand we’re all human and mistakes happen at least good customer relations should be held as a high regard in the food industry. Hate to write this review but hopefully I can update this with the situation becoming satisfactory for my family. When I go to dinner with my family we expect to receive the food we order and purchase.. sincerely , concerned Long...
Read moreService was poor... When we got there we was going in a the servers (girls) was more interested in the group of guys that was by the front door... We stood there for 5 minutes before they even said hi and then said well you probably don't want to sit in here. We said ok and went to the patio and sat. After over 20 minutes someone finally came over to take our drink order... Remind you the only people that were in there was that group of guys. And another couple. So we waited... She finally came over we finally got our drinks then we placed our order... About 25 minutes later, all we ordered was the nacos and cheese and sour cream. We finally got our order. Then wanted some sour cream and wanted another 20 minutes before she came back and that was because we were starring at them.... Then she came over ask if we could get more sour cream and she said yes and then didn't see her for awhile agin... About 20 minutes later she came back oh here is your sour cream... By then we were almost done. So was ready to leave and waited another 30 minutes did not see anyone... Finally she came out and ask what we wanted and we said our bill... Remind you by now we are the only people in there... Besides the workers. After 10 minutes she finally brought us ore bill then she disappeared again... After another 15 minutes she came back and we handed her the bill and left... Piss poor service.... Not nice, more worried about the guys table than anything else then after they left didn't care about anything... Just wanted to stand around and talk and play on...

Me & my friend were only wanting to come grab a bite to eat, have a couple of drinks & watch the game.
We were going to make this a regular thing on Sundays since we both enjoyed the atmosphere & food.
Normally, we never had an issue. My buddy always orders a pitcher of beer & I usually get my rum & coke.
Out of nowhere one Sunday, after ordering our usual; our waitress said they can't bring out a pitcher unless we both drink the beer.
Both of us looked at each other with confusion. So I spoke up & said, "I'm sorry but I don't like the beer he drinks, why can't I make a different choice in what I like to drink?"
She couldn't explain it but just said, "I'm not sure but let me get my mgr."
Long story short, the mgr enforced this policy so we politely got up, left with complete confusion since it's not even a law or FL statue & just spent our money elsewhere.
Their competitor was more than happy to serve my friend his pitcher while I had my mixed liquor while watching the game & eat. Ended up spending more than we planned for, but hey, well worth it.
We found a new usual spot for our Sunday break. And it's no longer Hooters. They got to do better. Poor choice in policy guys.
And that young mgr... a little too serious. In customer service, you have to be more customer oriented to KEEP customers & maintain retention for the company you work for.
Relax a little, loosen up & just... take.. care.. of.. people. And people will take care of you / the...
