Target — Local services in Daytona Beach

10/17/2020: Another successful Target run. I went somewhere else to get something and they didn't have it, so I camed here to get one thing - an OXO pie server. They had it and I got 2 other things that I remembered I needed. They have a big parking lot, never an issue with finding a spot. Employees always well groomed and working hard throughout the store. The customer service is awesome. The shelves were stocked up and it's easy to ask for help while shopping, which is not necessarily the case other stores.

I've yet to have bad service at this store. I went in today and Tina helped me. They didn't sell a product, but she suggested an area where I might find a similar product in the store and showed me where it was. She offered to do this, and since none of those choices were desired, she called a nearby store to see if they sold what I originally wanted. I would not have this experience going to a competitor! She went out of her way and above and beyond to make sure a customer was satisfied, regardless of whether I spent money in the store and that is how it should be. Thank you Tina!

I like some of the products and associates are always helpful. Target seems to like to simplify the shopping experience through the selection of quality merchandise paired with competitive pricing and consumer tools such as "Pick-Up". I normally shop at another competitor or online. But if I'm in the area, I find that the selection is fairly good and I've purchased many kitchen items here (and their brand!) that are very good quality and their prices are not expensive and sometimes cheaper than other places. The staff are always excellent, and I've not found a problem with them matching an online price of theirs to in-store inventory....

I was at this location on 08/26/25 around 11:30 / 12:00 pm. I was in a rush but knew exactly what I wanted. I went to the food department and a female employee who looked to be in her 20s, tall, thin with brown hair a little past her shoulders. She followed me around the food department the entire time I was there. She made me so uncomfortable. I was at the frozen food freezer, and then a young black man in his 20s was watching me too. He stood right near me and grabbed one thing from the freezer and walked away. The girl in her 20s was still following me. I asked her where the butter was because she was standing next to me. So then she followed me to the freezer where I was getting the butter. Again she stood so close to me while I was getting my butter. So close that she opened the freezer door next to me and rudely asked me to move to she could grab something. I could not understand why she was treating me this way. All I had was a small purse. I didn’t say anything, but I was tempted to before I left. I was so uncomfortable, and did absolutely nothing wrong to be followed. I have never been to that store in my life. Went to target on 5/6 around 8PM to grab some things and saw Resident Evil 8 on the sale floor for Xbox (which didn’t release until 5/7) but I thought maybe I was wrong and tried to buy it. The associate got it out of the case and when he ringed it in he said it was street dated for 5/7 and we’d have to hold it for the next day (not a problem). I came in this morning (5/7) at around 9am and went to electronics. The game was no longer on the sales floor so I tried finding an associate. After 5 minutes of walking the entire back half of the store I finally found an associate, but it “wasn’t their department” and they would “have to call somebody else to help.” After 10 more minutes of waiting nobody showed up so I went to the front of the store to guest services to find help but there was nobody in guest services and nobody on a single register. I was completely fed up, didn’t buy my game, and now will have to go somewhere else. Super upset with the professionalism at this store and lack of care by the associates. Also, tried calling the store to see if somebody could assist me and nobody answered the phone. I’d suggest skipping this location...
