Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Daytona Beach

1st off let me say that I LOVE Chick-fil-A. Absolutely LOVE it. Every location I've ever been to has always been on track! I went to the ISB location DAILY (M-F) before the reconstruction. I used my app DAILY!

While it was closed for rebuilding I just did without (sad...I know). I was excited for the reopening to include a double drive thru and a curbside pickup area (convenience of the APP!!) When the location reopened I had changed jobs so CFA was not on my way to work in the am, so I would occasionally (1-2 times a week...yes I know in comparison that's probably not a lot) visit and do curbside for lunch. Although a very small area that was missused by customers it was still VERY convenient as I could order and pick up in minimal time and make it back to work without being late from my lunch break.

Well, then ISB changed the curbside parking area and obviously did away with it, yet turned one of the drive thru lanes into the "mobile app lane".....I have only two words "cluster f - - k". The traffic flow is horrible. People that are trying to get into the mobile app lane (mobile app being pushed to use by CFA) are BLOCKED by people getting into the order lane. I know CFA has no control over drivers and their inconsiderateness ....However, there are PLENTY of employees ready to take your order in the order lane, and there is plenty of signage telling people what to do and where to go....there is NO one helping to leave an opening for the mobile app lane so that those who do use the app (for convenience) can get through.

I love y'all but y'all are going to have to do better with this part....PLEASE!!! Because I don't want to have to stop going...

@chickfila I had an awful experience at this particular location. I went there for breakfast with my boyfriend and my five pound dog (who was in my arms). I assumed they wouldn't allow my dog inside which is totally fine, but the only entrance on to their outdoor patio is from the inside. I stood at the front just long enough to tell my boyfriend what I wanted to eat & as I'm turning to walk out one of the employees, Blair, immediately snipped at me telling I had to go outside. At this point, I was perfectly okay I smiled and said sure. I went to the patio and I sat down while my boyfriend was inside waiting our food. Blair then came back out and snapped at me again saying the patio was considered inside and that my dog couldn't be there. So I asked her what she wanted me to do, as I waited for the food that was already ordered to go. She told me to leave or to leave my dog in the car which is illegal fyi. I simply said okay and that I would leave but I still had to wait for my boyfriend because he had the keys to car and the food. I stood outside the restaurant in 47 degree weather waiting, through the window I could see Blair go back out as if to check and make sure I left. Bottom line, the way she handled the situation and the way she spoke to me made me feel like absolute trash. I left in tears. If there is a no dog policy that's fine I'm not giving this poor review as a means to debate a company policy, but the way in which you enforce those policies matter and employees should be briefed on how to be polite while enforcing those...

Best Chick Fil A in the Daytona Beach area hands down!! ( All fast food service employees and supervisors and business Food chain owners Should visit this CHICK FIL A ) And take some notes SERIOUSLY!! There’s a reason why this store is always busy round the clock busy!! Customers are treated as Customers ⭐️ unlike other establishments that treat their customers as if we annoyed them for coming in to get food! Your always greeted with smiles and appreciation! They don’t ignore you and pretend you are not there They are just hands down incredible with their customer service!! Your food is always cooked to order and hot and fresh great portions and not prepared ahead of time and sitting in heating container in the case that they get busy and fyi they are always busy and still get hot fresh food out fast with a smile!!plus 3 words It’s our pleasure)” There menu is simple it’s chicken served in a sandwich strips wraps or salads!! It’s not overwhelming with 20-30 different sandwiches and others!! Hands down chik fa la has great food and great customer service and great it’s just awesome!!! Now the only thing I do wish Is possibly some assortment of more sides and maybe even something different with the chicken Like maybe just saying different chicken strips sauced kinda like Huey Magoos And maybe some more sides like potato salad the menu is great but I think if you added a few more items it could be even greater!!! Other than that hands down this establishment is at the very top...
