This place is basically in the woods, I go there on the regular caz I like the food. It’s not the best but the price is not breaking the bank. Everyone is nice except for the tall feminine dude that sport the long surfer hair and always poorly dressed for the occasion! After placing my order and patiently waiting for it, when the order finally became ready he gonna ask if I place the “#15”, my respond was I’m not sure what the number is as the guy didn’t give me a number, before I could tell him what I order he gonna get mad and said “”U PLACED AN ORDER AND DONT KNOW WHAT U PLACED?”” I was speechless while he stormed away telling me he don’t appreciate the attitude after I barely said two words to him. The other guests standing in line was just staring at him. After I told him he has poor customer service he said he hopes I enjoyed my food with his eye poking out at me. Lol. At that point I literally was ready the leave the food on the counter and step out Caz My appetite had died. I’m not a confrontational person which is why I just left without saying another word to this man. Obviously they are just “doing a thing” Caz they know nothing about customer service. I was in no way being rude rather than just waiting on my order but I can honestly say this customer will NEVER go back there ever again! PS: Place is in the woods so I guess you just have to expect...

Service was terrible,,,waitress said that they only had 2 blue grabs left, well hell 95% of their menu is blue grab something. 🙄😬 took about an hour to get our food. And NO they wasn't busy, 6 ppl at tables. The crab legs was good fresh, shrimp was good but the corn cob, slaw(browned) 😬🤢, my son and his wife said their veggies were way under cooked, sweet tea was old. We had to ask for silverware twice, had to ask for napkins and ask for a couple of krackers for the king crab legs and got 1 and 2 sets of small shears and was told they was running short on them, by the time we asked for krackers there was no one in there other than us. I am so aggravated with Mackers, my son was in for vacation and I wanted to take them to a local place so he could see the difference between local fresh seafood and the big chain places that he is used to being landlocked in KY. I don't understand what happened with Mackers, wife and I stumbled on this place couple of years ago and their service and food was top shelve, it was a fish market store back then also, I did notice that, that part of them was gone, just a wanna be restaurant still physically under construction. Won't be going back....

Was very upset and displeased unfortunately. We came in and they were busy I’ll give them that, we understood though. We got forget about for an hour. Served drinks that were flat and they were out of straws. When they realized we still hadn’t ordered they rush to get our order and then told us that they were out of corn and cocktail sauce. They rushed our food because at that time we had been there for almost two hours. Potatoes nor eggs were cooked all the way through. Me being 25 weeks pregnant I was nervous to eat the shrimp and crab. $150 order nothing right, two hour wait with small kids, flat drinks etc. was just overall upset. Then when going to checkout they redid check to add my drink….: couldn’t even offer a free drink after the wait and quality of food. The owner was super super nice and she had great customer service but unfortunately nothing could make up for the price and quality of food we received. We usually come here on vacation but haven’t been to this new location. Unfortunately probably won’t be returning . Should have been told about being out of all of the items when we first came in and we probably wouldn’t have spent so long waiting as we would have went...

Very unassuming place with a nice amount of tables and chairs for inside dining. Family owned and operated. I believe it was Tristen that was taking care of us and doing the cooking on our Sunday visit around noon. We had the place to ourselves except for folks coming in for takeout. We chatted with Tristen when he had some time between his other duties and got t he lowdown on the family business and a good time in October to come back for some fresh oysters. This visit we specifically came in for the seafood boil for 2 and we weren't disappointed. The boil had crab legs, plenty of shrimp, sausage, corn and potatoes for about $60. We left with leftovers. We started with the clam chowder but the seafood boil was the star of the show. We'll be back and just a heads up...when we posted pics of our food friends were asking where we were because it looked so good. We'll be back in October for the oysters...but....we'll probably be back before then to try other menu items 😋

Arrived at this place after having a bad experience at a place called Hidden Treasure And the gentleman that was working there received us with open arms, even though he was about an hour out before closing and didn't have everything we needed for our boiled, but he made it happen! His customer service was through the roof created a boil with what he had. And it was absolutely delicious! Well, that's what my wife says, because I don't eat that! The price was good for everything that he put in it. But what we appreciated most It was the way we were welcomed and the way we were treated! Definitely a place to go if you like seafood period it is not a fancy place by any stretch of the imagination but you don't need fancy when you have that kind of customer service and food! I want to thank them and I am sorry that I don't remember. The gentleman's name or the other one inside that was cooking. But they are absolutely awesome there!

Delicious and so fresh!!! We searched for some fresh seafood while visiting and kept being told main chains (crab shack ect.) or other locations where over half the menu was battered and fried. Finally tried this on the way out of town and it was AMAZING!!! The location was relaxed and chill, the servers were so helpful about suggesting exactly what we were looking for, and the seafood was the BEST!! Crab, shrimp, scallops....YUM! We really love seafood and know what fresh caught and fresh well cooked tastes like, and this was perfect. Not to mention that all the sides were delicious also: soft, buttery potatoes, perfectly cooked corn, delicious sausage. We couldn't decide what was best because it all was! So much food too and at a great price. We all left full and happy! I actually hate leaving reviews but walked out knowing I had too. Wish we could come back again!!
