Miyabi Sushi — Restaurant in Daytona Beach

Hey guys! I gotta tell you, I love this place. I am not writing this after my first time going. I have been on three separate occasions, having just absolutely adored each experience. With fresh ingredients, a chill atmosphere, and outstanding servers and chefs, Miyabi is easily one of my favorite sushi places in Daytona AND Ormond. While Ormond doesn't have much by way of sushi, Daytona has Cafe Du Japon which is easily the more upscale option. I would say that Miyabi offers a more mid range experience in terms of price but delivers consistently delicious results with their food. The creativity of the chefs is also amazing, and no matter how many times you order the same thing, it will come out different every time.

The two ladies there are very nice, and serve people with haste while not rushing customers. I know this personally because I typically take a while to prepare for an order.

Based on my experience with this restaurant and its staff, I have to highly recommend Miyabi. It's a great choice for a date or just a casual dinner, in a nice part of Daytona Beach right in Bel Air...

Second time ordering (chicken katsu bento box, A1A roll and Udon). It was fantastic. The highlight for me was the tempura that was crunchy and flavorful. There was an amazing smokey dipping sauce that sent it to another level. The Gyozas were among the best I've had and my wife was raving about a hot roll (deep fried) that they included. I wish I knew what it was, because it tasted like the chef fell in love and expressed that love in the roll.

They were extremely quick (15 minutes) and the restaurant, itself, is cutely styled.

My only nitpick is that I thought the miso soup was a bit too fishy/salty (but my wife enjoyed it.).

Overall, I think the portions were great. My wife and I ate and we have lunch for tomorrow. Four high quality meals for $45 is an absolute steal.

Son's 17th birthday occurred during spring break in Daytona Beach. He requested sushi for his birthday dinner.

They accepted my reservation request. They had our table clean, with menus, and waiting for us. (Love this!)

Service was flawless ❤️. This is a family run business and our server, the mom, kept up with the entire restaurant single handedly without making us wait not even for our water refill.

Now the food. We were HUNGRY and ordered quite a few items off the menu. Miso soup House salad Avocado salad Seaweed salad Love Boat for 2 Broiled eel plate Sunset roll Kraken roll Christmas roll

Everything tasted spot on. PERFECTION. and before we left our wonderful waitress brought out the deep fried ice cream with candle and sang happy birthday.
