Big Shark — Local services in Daytona Beach

We went to Florida 7/2019 and stopped by this AWESOME shop before going back home. Brought back this cool, liquid hourglass souvenir, but I accidentally dropped it on my way back home while carrying everything back in the house and cracked it, causing a leak. I called Big Shark and explained my predicament to the girl that answered the phone. Let me just say how friendly and willing to help she was, from the get go (I wish I could recall her name bc SHE DESERVES AN INCREASE FOR HER OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS). I explained that I had broken my favorite souvenir and asked if they could ship a replacement. She told me she was pretty confident that they could, but she wanted to run it by the boss first. She took down my info and promised to call back shortly. This girl did NOT Disappoint!! Called me back within 5 minutes to tell me " Yes, Kelly, we can ship it to you", and was able to tell me how much, with shipping, and approximately when it would be delivered. I was SO IMPRESSSED with her customer service and follow through, that I decided to place a second order for the same souvenir. I received them both today perfectly wrapped (less than 5 days from ordering) THANK YOU BIG SHARK AND YOUNG LADY THAT ANSWERED MY CALL!! I HOPE ALL YOUR EMPLOYEES EMULATE HER CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!!!!!! OUTSTANDING SERVICE, AND EXPERIENCE, WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK TO BUY ALL OUR SOUVENIRS FROM BIG SHARK WHEN WE COME BACK IN...

So, my wife and I are staying at a hotel 15 miles from this gift shop, and we made the trip here to buy some souvenirs after seeing some of the great Google views that people had left online about this place!! The reviews where right!! This place is awesome, they have everything you could possibly want at better prices, for example, I bought a prehistoric "mackerel shark" tooth necklace for only $7.00, and it's a big God damn tooth, and YES, ITS REAL!! Look below at the picture that I took of it!! And if you where to buy this very same necklace from someone who hand makes them, like for instance off of the ESTY website, you be charged something like $15 for the very same size "mackerel shark" tooth with an leather cord necklace! So, yes, make the trip to this place, it's definitely worth the time...

This is our FAVORITE souvineer shop on Daytona's strip. It has a FANTASTIC selection, excellent prices compared to the rest of the shops, quality merchandise, well staffed, and up to date styles on fashion. The place is clean and well maintained. It offers children's clothes, shoes and toys, beach gear for the whole family, womens clothes and shoes, and mens clothes and shoes. Every time we visit Daytona Beach Shores... THIS is the FIRST place we shop!!! LOVE THIS STORE!!! I just had to share this because after we drive to Florida from Missouri on vacation, this shop is the one we look forward to visiting year after year!!! The giant shark on the front of the store makes it stand out from the rest. YOU will not regret giving this place a try....
