Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Dearborn Heights

I almost never write reviews, but this service just made me want to write one. This was possibly the most STUPID DQ I've been to. This experience has me dumbfounded. I tried to order a blizzard with chocolate ice cream and nutter butter cookies. The worker tells me, "We don't have nutter butter cookies, only a nutter butter base." (we ended up getting nutter butter cookies anyways by ordering an ultimate cookie with no chips ahoy and oreos...) Once my order was in for 3 blizzards, me and my boyfriend waited for our dessert. One worker comes to the drop-off counter and is looking for a lady who was waiting for the order in her car. The worker then asks us to BRING THE FOOD TO THE CAR FOR HER. 😭 We don't work here, but we did it anyway! Then when we asked for a to-go carrier, and when the worker tries to put the cups in the carrier, proceeds to pur her thumb into one of our blizzards! When giving us napkins, proceeds to get her chocolate finger prints on our napkins. Unbelievable. 😂🤦 Worst DQ ever. They don't even take coupons that they sent us because their technology is so old. The horrible service started with the customer before me being mistreated over a blizzard🤔. The sign clearly states that your blizzard is served upside down, without spilling out or your next one is free. The young lady was served what could have been a slightly thickened cold soup (it poured out of the cup when tilted). She requested politely that it should be remade correctly and the manager (at least this individual claimed to be the manager) refused and stated that it was made the right way. The customer then requested her money back mind you the customer never became rude or irate. The employee/ manager demanded that she leave the premises or the police would be called. The customer moved to the side but remained at the facility, without any disruption. This rude individual called the police on this young lady. I tried to intervene and requested to leave my information for the owner and I was told that the owner was called along with the police. Ice cream always taste so good especially on the first warm days of the year. The girls at the dairy Queen didn't know what an upside down banana split was hey, and then proceeded to tell me oh that's called a layered Sunday. At first they asked me if I meant some kind of flurry, I said no and had to explain it to them. Then I asked for a turtle and the girl said to me once again you mean a flurry. I said no you know what comes in a cup and it's a layer of chocolate and fudge and pecans and ice cream . Then she proceeds to give me a teeny tiny little cup with a bunch of fudge and caramel at the bottom ice cream in the center and pecans on top you. I had to ask for nuts whipped cream and a cherry on top of the banana splits, and got charged extra. This is why I like the old mom and pop ice cream places, like dairy Dan's on Wayne road.
