This is my second time eating this pizza I visited on 8/4/23 around 4:00 pm. It was very clean upon entry. I did ordered through doordash and picked up my own food the cashier could find my order after I showed her 3 times it was annoying , she made it seem like I was lying about having a order for the name I showed her. I received my order I mistakenly thought I ordered an extra pizza turns out I didn't. The facility did give me an extra cheese bread me unknowingly still thought I ordered another pizza one thing about me I always check my food before leaving I looked at all my food and told the lady that I think I had an extra pizza she took my food back and took the extra bread stick they made a mistake and gave me which I thought was very dumb normally when someone gives you something by mistake they let you keep it. She took that bread back after me already had opened it and checking to see was my order right she gave the extra bread stick back to the cook which I am sure they are going to sell it to the next person. This right here made me remove another start that lady doesn't what the hell she is doing do better with y'all customer service. I run a business myself and I would never give a customer something and take it back after especially having their gems on the item. The pizza was ok added garlic butter to it and couldn't really taste it, there pizza is pretty decent. If you want good quality pizza go to Chucky Cheese their pizza is high and worth every bite. I don't like the pizza sauce the bread sticks were good. The sub was very soggy and bland wouldn't recommend they should put the wet sauce or whatever make it wet on the side. I live less then 15 minutes from this facility and my sandwich was fallen apart when I got home this was the only thing I didn't check I would have gave that back asap had I saw that soggy a** bread.

Read moreThe food here is great. Pizza is always good, cheese steaks are phenomenal, and the wings never disappoint. The service is always friendly but the they are slow. They were my go to pizza place for a while but I was getting frustrated with bad time estimates.
I would be told my food would be ready in 20 minutes but it would take 45. I have no problem waiting 45 because the place if often busy but they don't ever tell you it will be a longer wait so you end up waiting in the store not know when your food will be ready. However the food here was so damn good that I brushed off the multiple times this happened and figured eventually they would be better about their estimates.
The last straw was my Superbowl order. I had a relatively small order for myself and a few friends. I called it in at 1pm and said I would pick it up at 6pm. I was told that would be no problem since it was just a small order. When I got there they were absolutely slammed; a line out the door and the interior was crowded. I was glad I placed my order ahead of time and patiently waited in line. When I got to the counter at around 6:10 I let the cashier know I ordered earlier in the day and scheduled a 6pm pickup. She said it would be just 15 more minutes but when I asked her if it was in the oven she shook her head and let me know they hadn't even started on it.
I knew the 15 minutes was bogus based on what other customers around me were saying (waiting for 1+ hours) so I cancelled my order and left. We were desperate to eat before the game started so we were forced to get fast food instead of the pizza we were all looking forward to.
As much as I love the food I won't be coming back here because of the issue with wait times and the folly with my...
Read moreI finally decided to try Detroit Pizza Factory after hearing from a friend that Pizza was supposed to be really good. After reading a few reviews I felt like it would be a good choice. First the location is clean and I was happy it was warm inside. After reading the menu, I decided on the $13 BBQ chicken pizza and my daughter got the large one topping that was supposed to be $5. She ordered it with bacon as the topping and I was charged $6, although there was nothing specifying that any topping other than pepperoni would be more. No biggie though. We dined in, when the server brought the the pizzas out, my pizza had an additional topping, a lid for the small sauce containers. I may have possibly been able to deal with that until when I pointed it out to the server, he proceeded to take the lid off of my pizza with his bare hands, mind you this guy was working the register as well. He was very nonchalant about the top being on the pizza and only offered to remake the pizza after I brought the entire pie to the register and said I jus couldn't bring myself to eat it. When the pizza was remade and brought out I was disappointed. There was barley any BBQ sauce on the pizza and the chicken pieces seemed processed. The pizza is subpar and for $13, there was nothing premium about the pizza. Needless to say that was my first and last time at Detroit Pizza Factory. I will...
