The short review - Sukhothai is one of the best Thai- Japanese fusion restaurants that my wife and I had the joy of experiencing. I can guarantee that after checking it out once, you’ll be going back - again and again. I’m going to tell you about the food quality, pricing, service, ambiance/ cleanliness, welcoming nature, and attentiveness to the customer that makes this place an absolute stand-out. Food Quality: This is the primary reason why anyone goes to a restaurant and this restaurant absolutely delivers in this department. We ordered a chicken pad thai and a chicken curry dish -which were both very flavorful, had the right spice level, tender meat, fresh veggies, and the right proportion of spice in the sauce and noodles. They were very generous with their portion sizes and the pricing was extremely reasonable for the quality. Each dish amounted to roughly $15. Additionally, the meat is all halal which means higher quality meat in terms of cleanliness and taste. Service: From the time that we ordered and received our food, we waited hardly 15-20 minutes. The waitress came around and checked our water and asked how the food was while eating. She was very welcoming, courteous, and knowledgeable of the menu options. My wife and I had a good idea of the dish we wanted from the waitresses’ input. As soon as we walked in the restaurant we were greeted by the kind, warm, and welcoming staff - who quickly had us seated. The restaurant itself is new, and has very nice decor, plenty of seating, warm lighting, and comfortable chairs/ seating. Just take a look at the attached pictures to see what I’m talking about. Do yourselves a favor and check out this Thai restaurant for yummy food, at an amazing price, with very kind and...
Read moreWhen this restaurant first opened we loved it! We stopped going here because the wonton dumplings had an awful smell to it like old meat. But after not visiting this restaurant for 6 months we decided to give it another try! Bad mistake! Below is what we ordered.
Kow paid which is the shrimp fried rice with vegetables was mushy and had 0 flavor total waste! Bangkok Chicken (2) which was hard and tasted rubber was hard to chew and again total waste we took about 5 bites from our dinner. kids noodle which was so blain and also a waste! Sesame chicken same problem rubbery and hard to chew almost like they had this chicken cooking over and over again. California rolls were premade and came out ice cold like they had been sitting in the fridge.
I go to cash out and I get my bill I was shocked the food is completely overpriced! I spoke with the waitress who recognized us from before and I told her are issues all she could say was well i'm sorry and have a nice night! All this waste and my food came out to $146 something I was shocked like how and for what the food is disgusting! Not to mention they have a new policy where if 5 or more this restaurant thinks it's okay to add their own gratuity to the bill. So I ended up tipping the waitress $26 or something bill came out to $186 never again will I go here they lost a customer forever and I will be sure to tell everyone not to come here! DO NOT WASTE YOUR...
Read moreCute place! Loved the decorations. Huge menu! However, the service was a bit lacking. We went around 4pm and it wasn’t busy. Maybe 2 tables, if that. There was a table that was seated right next to us and it seemed that the waitress cared about that table more as they were regulars versus our table as this was our first time there. They didn’t ask how everything was until the end when we were ready to check out. We had to wave the waitress down each time to just get her attention for EVERYTHING. In the meantime, we saw the table next to us being catered to the most, drink refills and asking how the food was. Someone on their table didn’t like how spicy their soup dish was so the waitress said she took it off their bill. My friend didn’t like their meal either as he barely ate it. And he voiced his concerns and she just shrugged it off, didn’t even show empathy, just walked away. My dish was pretty good. I got the PP5. Pad Kra Tiem Prik Thai with shrimp, which is Fresh garlic and ground black peppers stir-fry together with green onions, water chestnut with a brown sauce. Although, it only came with lettuce and no water chestnuts. We also enjoyed the veggie roll - so fresh tasting! The white rice was a bit too dry, like it needed more water. I would maybe come back, but Maybe for carry out as you just don’t get the best service and...
