this has been the third negative experience I’ve had at this location and although I don’t like to leave negative reviews, this was the worst coffee shop experience. I placed an order ahead of time (don’t even attempt doing that, because it’s never ready when you get there). Upon arrival I waited over five minutes at the front desk with no employee in sight to help. I tried calling the phone number to possibly get someone’s attention but no one picked up. In my last attempt to get someone’s attention I went up to the “employee only” door to wave through the glass and saw two employees laying down on a couch on their phone. They came out and were completely unapologetic and didn’t even seem phased. I asked about my online order and they said they don’t have it. Came here on a Sunday morning around 9:30 and I’m not sure if maybe they were short staffed due to a call-in, but there was only one employee there when we placed our order. It became apparent after about 20 mins that this one employee was also responsible for fulfilling online orders as well as taking and making the orders of the patrons coming in. Another employee didn’t arrive until 10 and we ended up getting our two lattes and two slices of cake at about 10:15. The wait was understandable considering how poorly staffed it was and I felt badly for the employee. Not a great first experience. Beautiful interior but was pretty put off that the employees didn’t seem to be set up for success. Milk cake was 8/10, my boyfriend said the coffee was 9/10, my tea latte was either made incorrectly or I was given something else entirely. I ended up taking one sip and throwing it away...
