Mr Cheese Pizza — Restaurant in Dearborn Heights

Paid: $20.64 Order: 1 L Pepperoni and 8 Boneless Wings. This review will be lengthy, the TL;DR is do NOT go to this Pizza Restaurant, they do not know how to make food unfortunately.

I was originally going to give this place 2 stars, but that's giving this place way too much credit. Service: When I walked into the restaurant, I immediately noticed there is no scenery, no pictures, no posters, even the TV's were turned off. The only thing you will see is the lifeless white walls in the store. I then waited for about 5 minutes for the employee to come up to me. If someone enters your restaurant you should greet them as soon as you can Im sure 1 person can be spared to take my money. Anyways another person comes in the store and he talks to him first which makes no sense at all but finally I tell him I had placed an order over the phone and I tell him I want to do 14 in cash and the rest on card and I guess it seems like a taboo thing since he was fumbling around with the pos machine figuring it out. The sale is completed and I take my food. Last thing I need to point out is this place has no branding on their pizza boxes. Just a plain white pizza box, which tells me they are ashamed of their food or are too cheap to pay an extra couple bucks and get some branding on their boxes. Last thing is there is no place to sit so you cant dine in here.

Food: Pizza: The food is terrible, thats the nicest way to describe it, as you can see in the pictures the cheese falls off the pizza when you pick it up which is a great sign that they don't know how to cook pizza. When you pick up the pizza the cheese should NOT fall off they probably missed that part in the first day of Pizza School after the teacher finished talking about the syllabus. The pizza was also drenched in Olive oil, every bite I took was a gallon of olive oil in my mouth which was horrible. there was also little to no marina sauce because they must've thought olive oil was marina sauce probably. And it tasted bad, this restaurant does not know how to make pizza it shouldnt be called mr Cheese Pizza it should be called Mr Olive Oil.

Chicken Wings: Now the chicken wings were bad too I couldnt even finish all of them since they were hurting my stomach a little. as you can see in the picture the breading falls apart as soon as you lift the wing if you can even call it that. Its more like a chicken tender. how hard is it to mess these things up you need to know how to make the food before you can sell it, Do you think someone wants to eat a chicken wing and all the breading is falling out as they are eating it? I bet these people don't even eat the food they make because they know its bad. But yeah horrible chicken wings not a good flavor of bbq sauce and I threw it away because it devolved into crumbs and hurt my stomach.

Final Verdict: Mr Cheese Pizza is awful the lackluster atmosphere and horrible food makes me amazed how this place is in business. This place should be shut down and buried. In a scence in the pixar movie Ratatouille, Gusteau says Anyone can Cook and Remy, the main character replied to him and said, yeah anyone can cook but that doesn't mean anyone should which encapsulates this place perfectly. One sentence sums it up. Do NOT go to Mr. Cheese...

They are dishonest, they are liars, they cheat. Everytime we order pizza we never order THIN CRUST pizza ,but when we get it it is always thin crust.They make you pay full price for the THIN CRUST and when you call them and we tell them we didn't order thin crust, but thats what we got, their response is "we didn't do any thin crust today, we have to stretch the dough". EXACTLY which means you turn it into THIN crust. They are always out of dough so that means the take a medium size dough stretch it out to make it a large pizza so that also means they make you pay for a large pizza when it's not. That's how they cheat people with their money. Some people just don't deserve to have a business they just have one to rob people. A lot of people don't pay attention and people work hard for their money especially now with this pandemic so shame on them. We have order from them multiple times sometimes they were correct, but most times they were wrong when it's correct the pizza is great. So I used to be a frequent visitor to Mr. Cheese a few years back, used to always order the Bbq wings because I loved how they made them and was never a fan of the pizza. Always found it too thin and kinda plasticy. And one bad experience with my order of BBQ wings one day really turned me off to going back. And I hadn't gone back in almost 3 years, until I heard that they were under new management. I even saw that they changed the inside too, it feels much more welcoming.

So I decided to go in and give them a try, one more chance, and I was very pleasntley surprised. The food tastes so much better now, the customer service is much improved, and the menu options have expanded greatly. Their wings are better than I remembered, and I even tried their new Calzones and was hella glad I did because it was delicious and filling. So happy that they turned things around and I am more than happy to return and place orders there again!!! ❤️❤️❤️
