I never would have thought that I would eat corn with mayo and cheese on it. It was delicious. The corn was sweet and the seasoning was just right This was my first time visiting late night at 2am. I wanted something different. I purchased the Turkey Cubano ($15) and the banana pudding ($15). The gentleman that took my order, I think Sam, comped me the corn to try, El Chopo. I spent $35 on the sandwich, fries and pudding. The Turkey Cubano is good. I never had corn on a sandwich but all the flavors together made palette happy. I am a meat girl the sandwich could have had more meat but still it was good. I bought banana pudding from a soul food restaurant earlier in the day and it wasn't all that great but the Corn on the Corner is a must buy! Since it was late and the gas station was full I parked on the lot behind the food truck plus it was easier to make my exit. As far as the price....well it's a food truck. It's food truck priced 🤷♀️. I would definitely go back again to try the chicken 🐔 and the pudding. Also they have music playing outside and expect a wait at certain times. This is a popular truck. Great customer service. My food was brought to my car. UPDATE: Today Corn on the Corner surprised me with a chocolate banana pudding. If you like chocolate it is good. You don't really taste the banana but still good. On the top there is like a thin layer of fudge brownie, vanilla wafers and possibly banana/chocolate pudding mixed together according to...
Read moreSo My wife and I went for some food late this evening. It’s very clear that being one of the only places to get food after 11 PM - This place has grown a little arrogant. After waiting 45 minutes for a Greek salad with chicken and a chicken Caesar wrap, I approached the guy at the counter that took my order. He promised that my food was next and he apologized. So I sat back down and patiently waited. I proceeded to see two tables, both of whom came in after me, have their food served, and they began to eat. By this point, I was annoyed and approached the manager. I explained that I had been waiting an hour and that multiple tables who ordered their food after me were now eating. At this time, I could see my food being finalized and he asked me what my order number was. When I told him that it appeared that my order was now in his possession, he looked at the screen and said it has not been an hour. “It has been 58 minutes”. My response was one of shock. I said “rather than apologize and explain that maybe some of the orders got mixed up You double down and zing me with 58 minutes, not an hour“ I asked for my money back. I did not take the food and I walked out. Will never ever go back to this place. Someone needs to open up and offer them some competition so that maybe they can remember what customer service is...
Read moreOverhyped and overpriced. Food is good don't get me wrong. That's why I'm giving 3 stars, and for opening late hours is a big plus otherwise 2 stars. But the main issue is it's super expensive for a food truck, even restaurants in brick buildings don't charge you these prices. For example, they sell you $22 dollars for 12 tiny wings and fries.. the wings are so small and tiny but the amount you get for what you pay is ridiculous. Not satisfying at all. You won't get full of this sorry bucket of scrap dry wings. They need to reevaluate the wings, either get bigger wings, put more in for the price, or lower the price. I attached a picture of the sorry a$$ wing order for $22 dollars. Also, a small sandwich should not be $19 dollars either. But it tasted good and we must be honest. Would probably come back here but not with this menu pricing, maybe on desperate occasions, but most likely not. I've heard this complaint from so many friends as well about their ridiculous pricing. Other halal joints in the local area make similar food that taste just as good, at half the price. Literally. We are not desperate at a random sports stadium to be charging killer prices for little food... we have options. Overall good work guys, inshallah nothing...
