Taco Bell — Restaurant in Dearborn Heights

As anyone from around the area probably already knows, there is a real struggle for quality reliable fast food restaurants (especially Taco Bell) in this area—and this Taco Bell location is no exception. Though I have found this so far to be the best Taco Bell location in the area which is why it has received an extra star opposed to the other locations in the vicinity.

Like any Taco Bell, it gets busy because people love themselves some american tacos. I have only ever been through the drive thru here so I cannot comment directly on how anything is regarding dine in service at this location. There is typically always a wait of some sort in the drive thru, especially during popular dining hours around lunch or dinner time.

The employees here are friendly, but there seems to a be a bit of a struggle with order accuracy and timing. This could be due to staffing issues or anything really (who knows). Food quality here is hit or miss, I have had seemingly fresh and delicious tacos and then I have received soggy hard tacos that had most likely been sitting for a minute before they got to me.

I had high hopes for this location simply based on how poorly the other ones around me are when it comes to order accuracy and whatnot but sadly my first time here, my order appeared to be correct when I glanced in the bag, but when I got home and finally unwrapped everything I realized I was given some wrong menu items. I could have called and caused a big stink about it, but it was the closest I had come to being able to have a correct Taco Bell order in so long that what was messed up wasn't really that serious to me.

When all is said and done, if you're in the area, in a pinch, and really want some Taco Bell I would absolutely choose this location over the other locations in the area, just always be sure to check your food to make sure...

While their lobby smelled of musty mop water walking in and got a few whiffs during the wait, their drive was down you had to try to find a parking spot and go in with limited parking during rush dinner hour on either side of a one way Telegraph, once inside the staff informed you while ordering them, that they don't have nacho fries yet (even though they started advertising them on the menu) and they are running behind even up to 30 minutes. The guy at the front was attentive even though they had a full lobby they were serving, one guy said his wait was about 10 minutes and wasn't bad. The lobby was clean even after the rush they had, the food was good and worth the wait, free WiFi while I put my feet up. They were working hard back there. And apologized for the wait I overheard them say to another customer. I didn't mind, it was shorter than if I cooked at home. Ended up being 20 minutes, but the dew was good, I left satisfied. Decor was other standard upgraded yet retro art of taco bells I have visited some similar to their art with the high tables like in Findlay and Monroe. They need better training I saw them pulling car off I know they are making their time better. It wasn't even packed. I was inside I waited more then 10 mintues for my food. Honestly GM and owner need to see the reviews and view video when they are not there too see what need to change to better their stores. To make food They don't need to gather around and hanging out laughing. This taco bell need team work while customers are their to get the order done and out under 3 mintues. People who put reviews that didn't have a good experience are not lying. I will say the girl who took my order to day she has glasses did a good job handling customer keep her around, I seen her made it right with the customer in front of me and she was nice. The person who made my order hand me my bag like she was in a rush. It was not too busy. There was a mistake made with my order, I had a $19 order. On my 2 soft taco I order was not soft it was the Doritos locos I didn't order that every thing else was right. Just a reminder to check my bag before I leave.
