Taystee's Burgers — Restaurant in Dearborn Heights

1 good comment and 3 bad. Sorry Burgers are good. Not the best beef flavors or seasoning but they made up for that with topping. (Besides the stale no-brand doritoes they use) bad. They seemed to change their fries after expanding their location. Seems now they are just using a low quality frozen fry instead of using fresh cut, water blanched fries. These fries were the real reason my and my other chef friend came here. Third time we came and had the "fry let down" bad. No prices posted. Seems wrong. You can be profile charging people by race.arabic gets different price. Who knows! We don't know because there is no pricing on anything só you get hit with a $15+ bill real quick. You can be altering the prices daily. Who knows. The only other places that have no prices on food items are 5 star restuarants maybe. Bad. The suicide pop machine has been mis-calabrated for months. Watered down. Not worth drinking or paying for. I can assume they know about this and did it on purpose. I have worked with these machine and know how costly these syrups are. Would be a shame if you are altering the mix to save money. The fry change is the biggest issue. I hope it's temporary. These fries were the reason we ate there instead of the 100 other over priced burger joints currently out their. This is the Ford rd. And...

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! , usually this never happens but don’t go to this location if you want quality customer service, taystee’s is awesome just not this location, I called to place a pick up order for a reg. Cheeseburger meal/combo with a coke, and a Doritos crunch burger combo with a coke, he said “okay I gotcha “my total is $16.73 .....when I arrive they only give me the burgers and basically tell me that they don’t do combo/meal orders and everything had to be ordered separate( which was very strange), and then an older said that he will give me the fries and cokes anyways for the mistake but explained that it will have to be taken out of the workers check, so while waiting the kid/worker who was gonna have to pay for it tried to get me to pay for the fries&cokes anyways.......so I felt I was being hustled and told the older worker I thought the fries & Coke’s were gonna be free ......he acted like he didn’t know what I was talking about ....so At this point I’m frustrated to say the least so I just said I’ll take the 2 cokes .......and what he gives me are 2 MAYBE 12oz cups of coke and explained the reason there so small is because they offer unlimited refills (even tho I ordered takeout so that didn’t matter) , overall it was a s**t show and I won’t be coming back to...

Tonight was my first time at Tastys. They opened this location not long ago. I got great service. Friendly welcome and prompt. Clean store location at Telegraph and Vanborn. Staff was friendly, and I can't stress this enough. Very welcoming. Presentable clean work area, too. As far as the food ( I had the original burger), it was absolutely terrible.

Credit to the cooking staff - they did NOTHING wrong. They cooked it as requested and served it promptly.

However, the taste and quality of the food itself left a lot to be desired. Poor seasoning, special sauce mediocre at best, brioche bun was thick excessive bread. I took the bottom bun off to finish the burger. Tomatoes no taste either. Diced onions would have been better as sliced raw whole onion rings, but it wasn't an issue. The food just wasn't good. But the service was great. Despite the poor food quality with the burgers, they may have good food otherwise in their other items. I have no idea. I'd say give them a chance because the service is good. They have an opportunity to improve the food quality at least. Usually it is poor customer service kills off customers.
