Baba’s Grill serves some nice food. You can feel full, & appreciate some of it.
Food: 😏
I went March 30th for Shish Mix Platter - Kafta [Tenderloin], Tawook [Chicken], & Kabob [Beef] - along with Hummus, Bread, and their sides.
Each meat: Extremely tasty. 🤤 Grilled onions + grilled peppers tasted very delicious!🫑🍖 Well-cooked, with a beautiful flavor.
Platter came with fluffy yellow + white rice. I liked the red (decorative) powder. Both were fresh and hot, but each rice needed more seasoning. 🍚 Regardless, the bread was nice!
As for the sides: Baba could improve on these.
Soup was... plain soup. Yet, the Hummus had more issues. It tasted bland. I wish they had - like other restaurants - better + more flavorful hummus. 😔
Inside: 🌫
There’s dim lighting. It was so dark that I wondered if they were closing, or open. More lights would make me feel more comfortable.
Service: ☑
I found that the cashier/server did not give estimates for the order. Until, about a couple of mins later. It would help if a time were shared after payment in the future.
Overall, I feel there’s room for improvement in their Flavor and Response time for their services.
I appreciate the shish entrees, peppers, and bread the most. So, I recommend trying these vs other items. Baba’s Grill offers OK food.

Read moreWe were invited to a graduation party at Baba's, and I was blown away! Everything we ate tasted amazing. My favorite was the veggie stuffed grapeleaves, perfect balance of stuffing, tangy flavor, and grapeleaves soft and held the form. They little potatoes that are fried and salted with a seasoning that blows your mind with flavor!! The grilled chicken with white mushroom sauce was perfect, crispy, soft chicken with the gravy. The meat with rice, omg!, I have no words. My picky son loved that the most. Party of 50, everything meant to be warm was brought out warm, you knew the food was not sitting under a heat light, it just came out the pot to the table. The service was exceptional, and the ladies went over and beyond to meet our needs. We asked for a cup of ice, and they brought 2 pitchers, knowing others would ask for ice! The restaurant, for being older and previous restaurants there, I found it clean and well kept. Can't wait to go back! Later that night, I was craving the grape leaves again. I wish I had taken some home! Almost forgot, the garlic dip was perfectly balanced, not too garlicky were it bites your tongue, and perfect lemon added. With the fresh baked bread,...
Read moreI have never posted a review, maybe it's time to encourage those doing a great job by giving them the ratings they deserve!! this was a horrible experience for a traveler!! Stopped by on my home after a long day driving. I was hoping a shawarma would satisfy my cravings for middle eastern food halas! Yuk!!! The sandwiches were horrible!!! I have never had a tasteless middle eastern sandwich till today. I still cannot comprehend how can a native not make a one taste like a shawarma (no seasoning, no salt, bad meat).); this is just unbelievable! I am less concerned about them messing up the order since (gave 2 types instead of 3); I didn't want to drive back there just to have the order corrected. The shock is that all the sandwiches were horrible!! Even the falafel sandwich tastes weird....I should've turned around when that strong smell slapped my face as I entered the place. They ought to do a better job deodorizing the restaurant, not pleasant at all. Not a place I'll ever come back, they at least can improve the experience for the...
