Absolutely appalled. I just moved to Dearborn and decided to visit this bakery. I went in and waited in line behind all the people in front of me. There was no one working the “please order here” counter which is right next to where everyone else was waiting so me and my niece just waited in line behind everyone else. We waited for about 5 minutes until we got to the front of the line. This Lebanese lady came in after and got in line behind us. Mind you, the owner or whoever he is, sees us this whole time. He then calls the lady behind us to take her order. We tell the guy that we were here first why isn’t he taking our order? He tells us we aren’t in the right line. Again, the lady wasn’t in the right line either. We tell him this and he refuses to acknowledge his mistake instead talks down to us and is arguing with us about the line in a shouting match. As someone who is working in the restaurant business, you see us waiting in line, you know we are in the wrong line along with the lady behind us. Why wouldn’t he just tell us hey I’m taking orders here? Or say oh I’m sorry yeah come to this line? Why argue and scream in front of your whole store and customers? Why pick and choose which customers you want to help? So disgusted and there’s too many amazing bakeries in Dearborn for anyone to tolerate bad customer service. Read moreI told the cashier I wanted the person who was putting my order in the box to wear gloves or the one who was going to put the food in the box to have gloves. He did not even write a note on my order saying that. Then the man who was putting the food in the box without gloves brings my order and I argued with the cashier who did not care. Then they bring it back to me and one of the men with gloves when asked by me did you put the food in the box and he said yes I honestly do not believe him. I heard great things about this place from my friends but honestly I will not come back not very sanitary plus horrible customer service. I sent my brother to buy Medium Manaqueesh of Zataar, Cheese and Keshik , They only made the Keshik fresh and gave him the Cheese and Zataar without reheating and all from over the counter, which where WARM , DRY AND NO TASTE, just Horrible. God Knows if they were made early this morning or from PREVIOUS NIGHT.
On top of that, the Keshik tasted so Nasty, they no longer put real keshik or put the right amount of Keshik , it's mainly onions and tomatoes and water taste and the Keshik tastes like flour not even real keshik taste. Every time I go to there, I have to tell them make me fresh. They Need to Stop making the Medium Manaqueesh in Advance and use Real Keshik or at least fix the Taste.
