During my visits to this restaurant over the past five years, I have established a consistent routine as a regular customer. The staff, particularly a familiar lady, recognizes me and my usual order for take-out. Unexpectedly, a series of unsettling incidents occurred during my recent visit dinning in, beginning with discovering black debris inside a pitcher. Upon notifying our waitress, she promptly replaced the pitcher and provided fresh cups with ice for my friend's soda, only to find a small bug in one of the cups after pouring the soda. Once again, the waitress graciously replaced the drink. Subsequently, while waiting for our food, my friend discovered a piece of white hair in the mushroom chicken escalope dish, prompting us to address this as the third incident of the evening with the same waitress. Despite our efforts to handle the situation discreetly, we expressed our concerns. Although the waitress assured us that the manager would address the matter, this did not occur as expected. He pointed to us saying "if you have a problem you come to me" confusingly looking at my friend and my sister like is he joking.. anyways what ever I didn't want a problem so I got up to him where he was staning at the cashier and brought the hair to him and he loudly said that I disturbed his watress and that I'm doing to much (NO SPACE FOR ME TO SPEAK) basically he is saying I am messing to much and that I should leave he threated to call the cops I was so confused everything was happening to fast one of his worker was telling him to calm down "she is our regular customer" he said"I DONT CARE" LEAVE I DONT WANT PROBLEM IM CALLING THE COPS I HAVE EVERYTHING IN CAMRA". I was so shocked honestly and I LEFT THE RESTAURANT CRYING .(IN the end when he kicked Mt out I did yell at him and called him rude I wish i called the cops and I regret not being loud my review says it all.And I was with my toddler. WE WERE 3 GIRLS...
Read moreMy review is actually 4-star, but I selected 1-star on purpose to see if this will attract owner's attention.
This is kind of our favorite restaurant in Dearborn, besides all other choices. Especially their grilled chicken always wins among other choices.
We dined in and ordered for carry out many times. When we din in, we get free lentil soups. We appreciate it a lot. However, when we order carry out, we do not get free soups. We have to pay for it, which I cannot understand.
When we dine in, you give us free soups and then you clean the dishes, utensils. But, when we order for carry out, we cannot get free soup, even when we do not generate dishes. !!! That does not make sense boss!
Also, when we dine in, the amounts of the 2 sides are larger than the portions given with the carry out. Why? When people eat in and generate extra dishes for you, does this make you happier or more profitable? Your business strategy is hard to understand, if there is any.
And my last complaint is about the cheap foam boxes that are used for carry out orders. They are so thin and so cheap that are very easy to break. The foods get spilled out too. The box becomes messy and makes the food less enjoyable.
Please raise the quality of the boxes for carry out orders and start offering free soup and giving the 2 sides in the same size for those who save you from doing...
Read moreThis was the perfect restaurant for us when we went, but there were a few issues that brought the score down. We were in a rush, but we were determined to get some tasty Lebanese food before going to a show. We were running a little late, so we turned away from our planned restaurant due to a long wait to get a table. A last minute search brought us to Cedarland. We ordered what turn out to be way too much food (we had lots of leftovers - not complaining!) and the lentil soup came out very quickly after that. It was bland and disappointing; we feared for the rest of our dining experience. I added a bit more salt, which helped, but it was still lacking. Luckily, the rest of the food was much better. The fattoush was excellent - well seasoned and dressed, and a refreshing balance to all the delicious savory meats and morsels we were served. The chicken was well prepared and juicy. I'm having trouble remembering specific dishes (it's been two weeks), but everything was great, and we were happy to get to-go boxes. The service was fast and efficient, but a little curt (I wouldn't say rude). This happened to be fine for us, as time was our most important factor, but if we had not been rushed, it would have been off-putting. We would definitely go back, and I may adjust my rating if the experience is...
