**Dear owner : The only thing keeping me from giving this place a 5 star review is their terrible parking, business display and parking signs. I went today 3/16/19 to get clear pictures for this review. You can see that there's no displays for their store other than banner and door names. I even told one of the employees inside to get word to owner that he needs better displays for customers to generate more business. I managed many businesses, this was one of my jobs for many years. Hope the owner reads this review and takes necessary measures to help customers to this business. I'm a local in the city of Dearborn and it was difficult to find, so I can't imagine how it'd be for out of towners.
Now to the food, service and staff. This part is easily 5 stars. Their food is awesome, tasty, fresh, quick service and you're greeted when you walk into the store. I pay very close attention to detail and that is a nice touch. Customers love to feel welcomed when entering any establishment, so I hope they continue this with every customer. Their seating is roomy. Family friendly and can accommodate any person. Place is clean and well kept. Definitely very impressed overall. I'd highly recommend this burger joint to anyone looking for a great meal.
Lastly, my tip for people heading west on Michigan Ave. Use the back lot, hang a right at stop sign and use traffic signal for safe travels. Don't attempt to hangout left on Michigan Ave from Williamson st, you'll have a bad time. People exiting east, you're in much better luck. But it's a very tough to find this place. *Highly recommend the owner to put up parking/business displays for easier method of locating it. Hope this review has been helpful and I've had nothing short of a wonderful...
Read moreI finally had the chance to visit Zo’s Good Burger after it was highly recommended by a friend on my last trip to Detroit. This time around, I made sure to stop by—and I’m glad I did.
The vibes at the Michigan Avenue location are on point. The black and red decor gives the place a modern, stylish look, and everything was super clean and well-maintained. It has a fresh, contemporary feel that really stands out. The service was also excellent. I was in a bit of a rush to catch a flight and mentioned it to the staff. Even though there was a line and a 15-minute wait, they made sure to get my order out faster so I could make it to the airport on time. That kind of service goes a long way.
I ordered their signature Good Burger, and it absolutely lived up to the name. The pretzel bun added a unique, flavorful touch that made the whole burger stand out. It came stacked with a flavorful smash patty, multiple types of cheese, crispy boneless fried chicken pieces, fried cheese stick, and an onion ring. It was loaded, flavorful, and really well balanced—not your average fast food burger at all.
The best part? It’s halal. It’s so refreshing to see halal spots like this stepping up and competing with the best—both in quality and in presentation. This isn’t just a hole-in-the-wall kind of place; Zo’s is proof that halal restaurants can offer amazing food, top-tier service, and a clean, modern dining experience. It’s a great reminder that we don’t have to compromise on ambiance or taste when looking for halal options.
The burger was around $11, which I felt was totally fair for the quality and portion. Overall, Zo’s delivered a solid burger experience with great vibes, fast service, and delicious food. I’d definitely...
Read moreRead moreVery disappointed by this place. I’ve been a regular customer since the gas station days, but I will not be coming back. Whenever my family gets together, we get the deep half tray of fries from Good Burger, and it’s been $15 for as long as we’ve been buying them. The last time I ordered the deep half tray was a few months ago, and per usual, I paid $15. Last week when I called to place an order, I said “I’d like a deep half tray of regular fries, the one that costs $15.” The worker who answered said she would be right back (I’m assuming to check with her supervisor), and she returned and said “Ok your total is $25.” I said “excuse me? The deep half tray is $15. I buy this all the time”. She actually responded with “yeah we raised our prices.” What a lazy and uneducated response. Am I really supposed to believe that the price of this deep half tray of fries was increased by 67% ($15 - $25) in the last few months? That was an incredibly insulting response by this worker, and I let her know that I will not be coming back to this restaurant. Which is a shame because I remember being a loyal customer before it even became a big thing in this city. But when restaurants want to price gouge like this and make fools of their customers (you cannot convince anyone that your cost to make this product has gone up anywhere near the amount necessary to increase its price by 67%), this is when I know to take my...
