So, so bad. I don’t post reviews however I seriously cannot remember a meal this bad within the past decade. My 11 year-old son and I came to this Chili’s location to take advantage of the three for me menu at $10.99. I can’t remember the last time I ate at a Chili’s and perhaps now I remember why. When we arrived, there was a short wait of about 10 minutes, and we were seated fairly quickly, so that was no issue. Walking to the table, you will notice how nasty and dirty the floors are and that they are alternately slippery with grease and sticky with who knows what. Once we arrived at our table, it was none to clean as well. Overall everything just appears dirty and greasy. The server arrived inside of five minutes to take our drink order which consisted of ice water for my son and iced tea for myself with lemons. The server came back two or three minutes later to ask if I wanted lemon with my tea and I had to fight the urge to say that’s exactly what I just requested. The drinks arrive and my son’s water appears OK however, my tea had approximately three or four ice cubes in it which promptly melted leaving me with a plastic mug of tea as opposed to iced tea. I placed the mug at the edge of the table, close to the aisle in hopes that someone would notice, but never did even once the mug became practically empty. No offer to refill my tea. Additionally, a table of five was seated across from us about five minutes after we were seated and ordered their dinner at least five or 10 minutes after we did yet their entrées arrivals proceeded ours by at least 5 to 10 minutes. I started with a cup of potatoe soup which was room temp at best, not soup-hot at all. Cold really. My son opted for the chicken crispers, which is what chilis calls their chicken fingers, And I had a chicken bacon guacamole sandwich. Both were terrible. The fried chicken in both was tough and stringy and the tenders were so salty they tasted like breaded high blood pressure. You literally could not bite through the chicken instead biting into it and pulling long, tough shreds off for consumption. My son declined to eat even half of this mess. The servers passed our table numerous times but never asked us about our meal nor even glanced in our direction. Not well trained at all and I have worked in plenty of restaurants. So I know. Allow me to say this. Everyone that works here, meaning all persons, have to be much younger than twenty-five years old. One kid bumped into me twice going about his duties while we were waiting to be seated and nearly knocked me down when I was leaving and getting out of the booth. No acknowledgement or apologies. Same attitude from most other employees. Maybe the food is better at other locations but it is clear that this location lacks the maturity to provide anything good from service to product to cleanliness. I won’t be back and even my son at eleven years of age said “ that was pretty bad huh?” after our meal. I understand that Chilis isn’t fine dining and that isn’t what I was expecting. But when I spend $42 for a meal for two people (one a child) in that is so terribly disgusting I get fairly upset. I would rather go to McDonalds where the restaurant is cleaner and the food is better for less than half the cost. I want my money back -...
Read moreIt is with much frustration I must pin this review of our experience at Chili's Bar and Grill located in Toco Hills on Lavista road.
After waiting more than 30 minutes for drinks and appetizers we flagged down a passing representative, we later learned was the shift supervisor Romina, and inquired as to the reason behind the long wait. The explanation given was "your waitress is packing togo orders." Not an acceptable explanation by any means however we decided to wait a little longer as she said, "your order is coming out now."
We waited an additional 5 minutes and drinks finally arrived. We waited another 5 minutes and appetizers were served. Of the appetizers only the salad was somewhat edible. The tortilla chips were overcooked and the cheese sauce was extremely salty and scorched as well.
At this point we'd waited more than 45 minutes. We watched as two other parties that came in after us were not only served thier drinks and appetizers but thier full meals as well.
It should be noted that our party contained children whom by this point were very hungry. One who began to experience a hunger headache, had to lie in her parents lap to seek comfort.
After expressing our displeasure to the waitress we waited another 15 minutes, a total of more than 1 hour, and since we had still not yet received our meals we decided to take our business elsewhere.
At this point it should be noted that the other parties that had come in after us were now finishing their meal and packing their to-go boxes. Yet another slap in the face to this horrible dining experience.
We made our decision to dine elsewhere known to the store manager Romina only for her to say "Okay, I'll go settle your check." Of course this statement was quite frustrating as we had not been served anything that we deemed necessary to pay for.
Given the fact that this is the first time, in many months as a result of the Covid pandemic, that our family decided to dine out this makes the dismissive attitude of the manager Romina even more infuriating.
Further more, even after expressing our displeasure with the overall experience, Romina remained nonchalant and not once attempted to rectify the situation or make amends for the lack of service.
It truly is a sad situation that in this volatile economic climate a representative would be so willing to dismiss paying customers.
I am quite certain that Chili's Grill & Bar would have much rather received a positive review, however I am forced to give this detailed description of poor service and overall lack of customer service on the part of their representative manager on duty Romina.
It should be noted that this review will be posted on several social media outlets, as well as review pages, and updated once contact has been received from upper management.
I look forward to a reply from the company.
Respectfully, Sherri McCoy.

Read moreI called ahead and spoke to a rep from takeout to see if they was showing the wildcard game Ravens vs Texans The rep put me on hold to ask the bartender and came back to inform me that the game was on..I just completed a job in camp Creek and got there in time to watch the 2nd half. Excited to finally relax and order my favorite steak dinner My server was Tatiana.. She took my order..She informed me that I couldn't upgrade the 3 for me sirloin to a 10oz even though I was fine with paying for the upgrade..no worries.. I ordered the 10oz sirloin with Mexican rice with a coke medium well.. I literally waited the whole 3rd quarter for my order.. I asked John to provide me with Silver wear because there was Togo plastic wear waiting for me at the table where I was seated.. Tatiana was nowhere to be found I thought to myself I know they don't expect me to eat a steak with a plastic knife and fork.. I chuckled and tossed it over to the empty table accross from me. I almost went into the kitchen to get my food before Tatiana finally came out with my order.. The steak was not medium well like I wanted.. It was tough and the side of Mexican rice was under portion When I order the steak ask for A1 sauce and 99% of the time the server brings me the bottle.. Tatiana brought me a ramkin with the sauce which is what I really didn't want.. I wasn't checked on for a refill until I asked to speak to the mgr for the second time. Upon speaking to John the mgr on duty I expressed my displeased with the service and food.. I strongly believe my food sat at the expedited window for at least 10min before Tatiana brought my order out.. The plating was horrible and the steak was overdone and tough.. I told John that I would finish the steak. All I wanted was another side of Mexican rice to compensate for the half portion that was originally brought out to me and a coke refill I had to have John take care of me because Tatiana was not available.. I watched The other server Sasha check on her patrons in the tables across from me multiple times and thought to myself She should have been my server John took a couple of dollars off my bill and apologized for the experience And for a side note..even though Tatiana serves was horrid.. She really made no attempt to fix it. She got another table..took their order..ignored me and carried on business as usual I would have at least tipped her $5 or more if she even showed that she cared.. But she didn't.. Next time I visit the Toca Hills chili's if I ever do go back I will be looking for Sasha as my server.. Thank you John for your attention in my concerns.. Toca Hills...
