I've been going here for years. Today was my last day. I went and ordered an iced signature turtle latte, a sandwich, and a donut. I got my food, but never received my drink. I waited for 15 mins and, I work at Starbucks, I understand that it was busy in drive thru, and sometimes they may get behind. I was one of only two people in the lobby. Others had come in and left with their drinks. I kept looking at the counter and listening out for my drink, but never heard or saw anything. I went to the register to ask about the drink. All I said was that I ordered an iced turtle signature latte. The woman interrupted me and said that it's been up for like 5 minutes (I knew it was longer because the ice was VERY melted) and she laughs and says they called it out forever ago. She then pulls a drink from BEHIND the counter and hands it to me. (I tried to apologize and say I never heard anything, I'm hard of hearing so I kept getting up from my seat to check the counter. But nothing was ever sitting there). But she ignored me and walked away in the middle of me saying "I'm sorry i--". I began to cry because I have severe social anxiety, and her tone was very hurtful. If I wasn't so anxious I would have gotten her name. She had black hair with pink streaks. Also another girl was walking around in what was basically underwear... not my business but idk. I was embarrassed from crying so I went outside and my drink was almost completely melted. I only paid $5 for it, but I'm lower class and don't make a lot of money so it just sucked. This used to be a place I went with friends and loved. I'm glad we are getting new coffee shops in town. Starbucks and 7brew are so kind and would never make a customer cry. We would be fired on the spot for that behavior. I ended up throwing my drink away because it was melted and I'm sure they wouldn't bother to remake it like the other coffee shops...
Read moreI haven't had any problems with this place until this morning. Me and my husband went through the drive thru. We ordered a large iced latte with unsweetened vanilla flavor and almond milk. I am a diabetic and lactose intolerant and 2 croissant stuffers and my husband ordered a dragon fruit drink large and a sausage and biscuit. We got to the window they said our total was like $15.00 but at the drive thru they said it was like $12.00 and the lady handed me a hot coffee and sausage and biscuit and my husbands dragon fruit drink. When I told them I was suppose to have an iced latte instead the lady said it would be $2.00 extra even though it was there mistake and we just got the sausage and biscuit. We was told to pull up for some reason. I went inside and told them we had 2 croissant stuffers and I had to pay extra for something they messed up. The lady at the drive thru took our order right so I have no idea how it got so messed up. When we left I went to drink my latte and they put 4 shots of the regular french vanilla swirl shots instead of the unsweet like I told them and they put regular milk instead of almond milk. This is some very serious issues. Those people was not getting anyone's orders right when we was there and the manager was not very nice either. I work in customer service so I know a little thing about how to treat a customer. This location is in Decatur Al on...
