If I could give "0" stars I would. I ordered my food at 11:18am through door dash. The app said the food would be at my requested location between 11:38-11:43. I finally called at 12:25pm because I hadn't received my food. The person that answered the phone was VERY unprofessional. I asked a question regarding the time quoted on Door Dash and was told that you order through Door Dash but JJ's is the one that actually delivers. The person then stated that "she has 7 deliveries girl." I immediately corrected him and said I wasn't a "girl" and how that was very unprofessional. He started to argue with me about it and said "well that's how I talk." I found it to be incredibly rude. I would never talk to a customer like that, especially one that was upset about the delay of her order. I asked for a refund since my lunch time was missed. He said "ok" and then hung up the phone. Apparently the person I spoke with was the manager. He was far from manager type if he doesn't know how to speak to customers. I will...
Read moreWe came in at 6:15 after a track meet. The girl at the counter looked at us like ugh I have to wait on people. I knew they were nowhere close to closing which I could of understood the look if we did that. My son got tuna, his was fine. I got an unwich, and it was a sandwich. I took it up and said this was supposed to be an unwich. She was fairly polite, but (and I know this was directed at her error not me), there was a cuss word mumbled under her breath. They did thank us for coming in when we were leaving, but we'll choose differently at restaurants in Mt. Zion again. We always stop at the JJ in Tuscola after meets, and it's sometimes close to closing, and their staff is always friendly and up beat. We'll stick with...
Read moreEvery single time we come through this location, the employees talk to us like we are garbage. Other friends have had the same experience. Sometimes they don’t even greet us at the speaker, they sit there in silence until we ask if someone’s there. I don’t know if you’re there or not I don’t have a sensor that tells me when you’re ready, YOU DO. I don’t expect you to love your job. However I expect you to be tolerable. I shouldn’t leave the place feeling frustrated with how I’m treated just because I wanted a sandwich. I’m always overly polite with people in service industries because I know it gets old and it sucks. I always use terms like “Yes ma’am, yes sir, thank you I appreciate you”. Show some respect or go work...
