Whitt's Barbecue — Restaurant in Decatur

My family's been coming to Whitt's BBQ since they opened their Decatur location. I ALWAYS get the pulled pork sandwich with white sauce (OF COURSE). It comes with delicious vinegar coleslaw on the sandwich. If I'm not mistaken, they used to have Golden Lays -- super thin and crispy potato chips. I'm a LITTLE disappointed that they serve regular Lays potato chips these days which just aren't as good I'm afraid. My husband and I split the lovely white chocolate macadamia cookie. Super friendly drive-thru staff, we were their last customers a few weeks ago driving back home from Florida, and the adorable server gave our tired dog a little nibble of pulled pork! How precious! Literally BEST bbq in Decatur. I dont care what others say, i have NEVER gotten a dry bbq sandwich from Whitt's and i have at competitors near by, many times..ive actually quit even going to other BBQ places because every time the meat is so dry.. I dont know what Whitt's is doing different but others need to get with it, because their meats are ALWAYS so juicy and fresh! No bbq sauce needed, it's that's good & seasoned so perfectly & their cookies...the oatmeal raisin cookie is to die for!!! Def #1 for BBQ in Decatur IMO...*I added an updated menu btw,it's the most up to date as far as prices rn, others...

I love Whitt’s (food is outstanding) but the idea that you call in an order....and then get to the place and have to wait in drive through line to get yours...instead of them bringing it out to you or letting one customer inside at a time to pick your order up is pretty crazy. You may be waiting in line behind 2 cars that Just ordered by phone, who’s orders aren’t even ready (they don’t tell you to pull over till yours is ready) so the line sits there for 20 minutes and when you get your food it’s colder than...
